Our family-run wine business, in the centre of Caldaro/Kaltern, produces wines from exquisite grapes with traditional methods. The owner is happy to guide you through his wine cellar and invites you to taste his wine – on request. Additional offer: Apartments with terrace, sunbathing area and parking area. Wine retail. The wine bar is open from 5.00 p.m. to 2.00 a.m. and offers more than 500 etiquettes.

In the modern Vinothek in the main building of the winery, wine lovers, winegrowers and visitors alike should feel at home, enjoying a good glass of wine at the bar, but also being able to taste various wines. The focal point of the vinotheque is the elliptical bar counter. It symbolizes a large oak barrel and connects the cosy bar area with the tasting area.

CEO is a winery in South Tyrol’s Unterland – situated in the extreme south of South Tyrol. The loamy soils – conveyed here over the centuries by periodic flooding of the Etsch / Adige River until it was regulated – form the foundation for the cultivation of grapes yielding very refined, elegant white wines, but also full-bodied, heady red wines. By rigorously regulating the yield, we support natural processes in harmony with nature so as to grow grapes suitable for the production of great wines. We cultivate five different varieties of grape in our own vineyards located in the Unterland of South Tyrol.

It's no longer a secret that Sicilian anchovies pair best with a mineral Verdicchio and that our South Tyrolean speck calls for a cool Vernatsch. We offer both, in addition to a relaxed atmosphere, over 180 wine labels and beer and non-alcoholic drinks.

Kuppelrain is framed by trees and shrubs, you will find us directly at the small cozy station of Castelbello which has been modernized lately. Our proven team is still from Chef Jörg Trafoier and sommelier Sonya. Since the spring of 2013, is son Kevin Trafoier in the kitchen next to the stove and Jörg has his own style complements the creative dishes of our house and further developed. For some time, daughter Natalie Trafoier is now fully entered the family business. As a trained pastry chef and Patissière can expand our extensive range in our Bistrot perfect.
