You can see everything from here: from the terrace you can look directly onto the Mittagstal, the Marmolada, the Cristallo, the Tofane, the Langkofel, and the Sassongher. In the summer, you can conveniently get to us on foot, with a mountain bike, or come directly to us via the ski lift. We offer tasty dishes of local cuisine and snacks for in between and you can choose from a large selection of excellent wines. Our hut is located on the Rittner Horn. It offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of South Tyrol. With the cable car you can reach us on cozy way of Pemmern! Hikers, bikers and riders can reach us on marked paths, steep, starting from Ritten, Barbian, Villanders or Sarn Valley. Every Wednesday from 18/12/2024 to 12/03/2025 until 10 pm. Every Wednesday from May to the end of August "Sunset Dinner" warm cuisine until 9 p.m. We have no day off in July, August and November.

The Schgaguler hut offers typical dishes, as well as cheese, Speck (bacon) and local wines. Accessibility From Compaccio/Compatsch, follow trail no. 30 as far as Ritsch and then trail no. 9 to the Schgaguler hut. It takes ten minutes on foot from the mountain station of the Ortisei/St. Ulrich lift.

Sesselschwaige, a cozy alpine inn on the slopes of Mount Sciliar A perfect hiking destination at the Sciliar, one of South Tyrole‘s best known landmarks Sesselschwaige is located about an hour's hike below the vast plateau of Mount Sciliar. Surrounded by green pastures, not far from a clear mountain creek, the inn is popular for taking a break on the way up or down from the Sciliar and its chalets. But the charming little alpine hut is a perfect destination itself and rewards the hiker with typical local culinary delights, fresh dairy products and splendid views of the surrounding woods, slopes and peaks. Since the cottage has no access road and can be reached only by foot, there is true peace and quiet to be found here. Here, you can still get in touch with nature without getting distracted by tacky decor and noisy crowds. The hike itself from Fiè allo Sciliar, Tires or Alpe di Siusi is reasonably easy and poses no major challenges
