The Berggasthof Badl is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters a.s.l. in a beautiful place surrounded by the pristine nature of the park Rieserferner. It is known since the last century as a health resort, thanks to its curative mineral water. It is still an oasis of relaxation and regeneration to rebalance both, the body and the mind. The Kälberalm, located at an impressive altitude of 2,248 meters, is a true gem in the picturesque landscape of Sulden. This idyllic alpine pasture offers not only a refreshing break in nature but also a magnificent panorama that makes the heart of every mountain lover skip a beat. From here, breathtaking views of the majestic trio Ortler, Zebru, and Königspitze unfold, with their imposing peaks reaching towards the sky, creating an extraordinary backdrop for hikers and nature enthusiasts. The Kälberalm is easily accessible via hiking trails No. 18 and 19, which meander through a diverse alpine landscape. The well-marked routes are suitable for both experienced hikers and families, inviting everyone to fully enjoy the unspoiled nature. Whether taking a break at the pasture or during the ascent, the view of the surrounding mountains is simply spectacular, making a visit to the Kälberalm an unforgettable experience.
