On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, the Pflersch Music Band cordially invites you to the traditional Church Day at the Pflersch Community House. This popular event once again promises a varied program and a cheerful gathering for the whole family. The festive day will begin with the parade and concert of the Vals / St. Jodok (A) Music Band, who will set the mood with their musical talents. Afterwards, the well-known band "4a Gsponn" will keep the atmosphere lively with entertaining and upbeat music. Delicious food and drinks will of course be provided. Whether young or old – there’s something for everyone at this event!

Experience a breathtaking e-bike tour from Sterzing up to the high alpine natural paradise of Pfitsch - one of the last untouched valleys in South Tyrol. Together with a local guide, you will discover hidden places, enjoy the fresh mountain air and reach the impressive Pfitsch waterfall as the highlight. There you can dangle your feet in the ice-clear glacier water while exciting stories about the surrounding area are told. Who is it suitable for? This tour is aimed at anyone who wants to actively experience nature. Children under the age of 10 can be taken along, provided they are transported in a trailer (available for rent at the Outdoor Center). Mount up, start cycling and head up high! This panoramic tour takes you from the valley station in Sterzing via Telfes to Sterzing's famous local mountain - the Rosskopf. You climb around 800 meters in altitude in a relaxed pace on a wide forest road, accompanied by a certified South Tyrolean bike guide. Once at the top, cozy huts, delicious South Tyrolean specialties (not included) and a magnificent view over the Isarco Valley to the Dolomites await you. The return journey takes you via the Telfer Almen or - if you prefer - by cable car. Difficulty: moderate Participants: minimum 3 and maximum 10 people Registration deadline until Monday 5:00 p.m.

At the organic farm Gogerer you can visit the cows and chickens in the barn and on the pasture together with the farmer's wife Margareth. How does the milk get from the grass into the glass? An experience for young and old. You can be with the animals, stroke and feed them - you can be there too! At the end you have the opportunity to taste some products such as milk and organic yoghurt.

After a pleasant ascent, we visit part of the Pflersch Valley with a turn-off to the Route232 snack station. Here we can enjoy a short break with a vital snack on the sun terrace. Immerse yourself in the world of miners with the whole family - on an easy hike with exciting insights into former life on the "Telfer Berg" (mountain). Along the Miners' Trail, you will discover historical stations with illustrative themed boards. The traditional Brenner market takes place every 5th and 20th of the month throughout the year. If this day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, then the market takes place on Saturday before. At the market stalls many different interesting things, such as clothing, utensils and goodies for snacking are waiting. The market takes place every summer from 8.30 to 14.30 During the winter months, it opens from 9.00 to 14:00

The Waterfall Trail begins in the village of St. Anton in the upper Pflerschtal. In about 2.5 hours of ascent, we hike along the Waterfall Trail and reach the Furtalm at 1690 meters above sea level. We pass numerous waterfalls, accompanied by stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape. After a relaxing lunch break, we will hike back down into the valley to the starting point. Total duration: approx. 6 hours / approx. 500 meters of elevation gain / pure walking time 4.5 hours / Difficulty: Medium. Under the aspect of "animal welfare," Anneliese and Andreas produce the products of Pfitscher Gaumenfreuden. Join us on an exciting discovery journey to the "Reichmessnerhof" in St. Jakob in Pfitsch. See how chickens, pigs, and cattle live in their free-range enclosures. During a tasting, you can enjoy the various products. The farm shop and the beautiful Pfitsch Valley invite you to explore and experience. Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. With a herbal fairy, we dive into forgotten knowledge to discover the natural powers of alpine plants. The easy hike leads along the valley path of the Pflersch Valley to the herb garden, with its many rarities. At the end, the herb gardeners of the Wipptal invite you to a tasting at the herb manufactory at the Botenhof. Participation: €10.00 per person / free with the activeCARD Gossensass/Sterzing/Ratschings. Registration by 11:00 AM at the Gossensass Tourism Association (or Guestnet).

Every Friday, from the beginning of April to mid-October, farmers from the Sterzing area offer their local quality products at the farmers' market. At the market in the town square of Sterzing, people meet for the weekly purchase of local South Tyrolean products or for a "glass of wine". The varied offer ranges from traditional bacon and “Kaminwurzen” , fresh and smoked trout, cheese and yogurt specialties, homemade bread, organic wines, herbs, honey, eggs to homemade juices and fresh vegetables. Locals and guests have appreciated the market for over a decade now. Tip: Do not miss the delicious “Krapfen and Tirtler” of the Wipptaler farmers' wives!

Since the time of the Romans, wine has been cultivated on the sunny slopes of the Wipptal. Today, 2000 years later, there are once again some pioneers who utilize the milder climate for viticulture. Peter Faistnauer is one of them; he operates the first winery in the Wipptal. Since 2015, he has been cultivating the white wine variety Solaris. After visiting the vineyards, the special wine will be tasted in the old barn. Dogs are not allowed. It is not possible to navigate the paths with a stroller, and the entire tour is not wheelchair accessible. Lush alpine meadows, inviting huts and the majestic Tribulaun within reach! From the valley station (meeting point), we take the cable car to the Ladurns mountain station. The trail first leads past the smal lakes "Ladurner Lacken" and continues along the Dolomieu trail to the Teissljöchl/Edelweißhütte hut. This is followed by a short ascent to the Wastenegg, from where you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the jagged rock faces of the Tribulaun. Continue slightly downhill to the Teissljöchl and turn left to the hut Edelweißhütte (refreshments available). Finally, an easy hike along a forest path to the Ladurnerhütte, where you will be served a delicious Kaiserschmarrn pancake. The guided bike tour starting from the Rosskopf valley station leads along the bike path towards the south to Stilfes. Via a forest road, you'll reach the small natural pond. Expansive green meadows and a pavilion invite you to take a break. For the little ones, there's a playground... "A run through magical nature" MOUNTAIN TRAIL - 17,7 KM/950 HM Do you enjoy running and would you like to compete for once? The Ratschings Mountain Trail is a running event for everyone. With a length of 17.7 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 950 metres, the course can be mastered by all reasonably prepared athletes. You too can take part! MOUNTAIN TRAIL STAFFEL - 8 KM / 9,7 KM You’re a team player and you love to run in company? Then the team relay of this year’s Ratischngs Mountain Trail gives you the perfect opportunity. Get your running buddy and have fun preparing our two-man team relay. SKY TRAIL - 27,0 KM/1.610 HM If you are looking for a challenge, then the Ratschings Sky Trail is just right for you. The Ratschings Sky Trail is 27 kilometres long and involves not only 1610 metres of ascent and 1050 metres of descent, but also crossing the Jaufen Pass.

This tour offers experiences for all the senses: colorful herb fields, aromatic oils wafting into the nose, delightful flavors during tasting, and perfect tranquility. We start with a visit to the herb garden, explore the drying and processing rooms, discover a variety of herbal products, and conclude our tour with a small but exquisite product tasting of fresh tea, fruity syrup, and spicy schnapps. Those interested in herbs will surely take home a wealth of knowledge about the cultivation, drying, storage, and use of our medicinal and culinary plants. The tour starts at the Ratschings valley station in front of the Rent and Go bike rental. We follow the Pfeifer Huisele path along country lanes and forest roads towards the Klammalm. From here onwards, the technical riders are in their element. The trail towards Wumblsalm has it all. This is followed by a short descent across meadows before a partly challenging section leads to the highest point of the tour, the Wasserfalleralm. Here we enjoy a long break with good food. Strengthened, we follow a fantastic panoramic trail to the Rinneralm. The last few kilometers are downhill on the toboggan run back to the starting point. Registration only from the age of 15.
