Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults.
Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!
The ride leads from Ibsenplatz in Gossensass (alternatively from the Oudoor Center bike rental in Sterzing) along the Brenner cycle route north to Giggelberg. After a pleasant ascent, we visit part of the Pflersch Valley with a turn-off to the Route232 snack station. Here we can enjoy a short break with a vital snack on the sun terrace. We continue downhill to Gossensass to the starting point.

Mountain hike, starting from Flading (1,485m), via trail no. 30 to the Gleckalm (2,265m - not serviced). The first part of the ascent takes us through predominantly wooded terrain via the so-called Stiegen up to the altitude of the Klammalm. This is followed by a short, flatter section before we tackle the second altitude level. Passing the impressive Gleckbach waterfall, we quickly gain altitude. Another beautiful waterfall, which flows into a deep basin, can be seen at the top of the second altitude step. After reaching the ridge, the plateau of the Gleckalm opens up with great views. Take a picnic break here or at the nearby Gleckalm mountain hut. The return route follows the ascent path in the upper section and then leads us to the Klammalm, where a stop for refreshments is planned. We then descend to Flading via trail no. 12.

Ascent altitude: 780 m
Total duration: 7 hours (including breaks)
Difficulty: challenging - short, slightly exposed sections, surefootedness is required, good physical condition is essential.

The Jaufental is an extraordinary valley of nature's tranquillity, and it is precisely here that we seduce you and your family and show you wonderful natural places. We experience the element of water at the Gurgl waterfall and while treading water at the mountain pasture, where we stop for refreshments. We discover various herbs and alpine flowers along the way.

The guided e-bike tour starts at the Rent and Go bike rental at the Ratschings valley station. We start with a group game and playfully learn the most important riding safety tips. Afterwards we drive together along the Pfeifer Huisele path to Flading to the barefoot path with Kneipp facility. There we have a little refreshment at the witches' fountain. Fun balancing exercises await us before we head back to the starting point.

Immerse yourself in the world of miners with the whole family - on an easy hike with exciting insights into former life on the "Telfer Berg" (mountain). Along the Miners' Trail, you will discover historical stations with illustrative themed boards. You will be rewarded with magnificent views over the Telfer Almen pastures as far as the Ridnaun Valley.

An unforgettable mountain experience for gourmets and nature lovers: take the Rosskopf cable car and the panorama lift up to 2,200 m to the legendary wishing bell. Once rung, it carries your wishes over the peaks of the Alps.
We then take a leisurely hike to the Telfer Almen and on to the rustic Kuhalm - where you will be treated to a grey cheese tasting.
Return via a leisurely hiking trail to the mountain station.

Be a real knight or a brave damsel for once! Childhood dreams come true at the medieval Reifenstein Castle. With fencing, archery and adventurous games, children can immerse themselves in the world of the Middle Ages in a playful way - supervised and age-appropriate.

Our hike begins at the valley station of the Rosskopf cable car. From there, we take a comfortable ride together up to the mountain station – the starting point of our scenic day tour.
From the mountain station, we follow hiking trail no. 23, which leads us across the Telfes/Telves alpine pastures all the way to the Telfer Weißen peaks. The trail runs through a varied and open mountain landscape, offering beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. After a well-deserved break, we return to the mountain station along the same path.
Important information: The ticket for the ascent and descent with the cable car is not included in the price (normal price: €27.00; price for activeCard holders: €21.50).

The Waterfall Trail begins in the upper Pflerschtal at the House of Associations "Haus der Vereine". In about 2.5 hours of ascent, we hike along the Waterfall Trail and reach the Furtalm at 1690 meters above sea level. We pass numerous waterfalls, accompanied by stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape. After a relaxing lunch break, we will hike back down into the valley to the starting point.
Total duration: approx. 6 hours / approx. 500 meters of elevation gain / pure walking time 4.5 hours / Difficulty: Medium.

Under the aspect of "animal welfare," Anneliese and Andreas produce the products of Pfitscher Gaumenfreuden. Join us on an exciting discovery journey to the "Reichmessnerhof" in St. Jakob in Pfitsch. See how chickens, pigs, and cattle live in their free-range enclosures. During a tasting, you can enjoy the various products. The farm shop and the beautiful Pfitsch Valley invite you to explore and experience.

We start in Maiern in front of the Rent and Go bike rental in the direction of Bergl, go past the birthplace of the Ridnaun giantess and on to the Martalm. From there
we cycle along the forest road to the Gewingesalm. After a little refreshment
continue to cycle to Entholz and along the Erzweg back to the starting point.

The guided bike tour starting from the Rosskopf valley station leads along the bike path towards the south to Stilfes. Via a forest road, you'll reach the small natural pond. Expansive green meadows and a pavilion invite you to take a break. For the little ones, there's a playground...
This tour is not offered for children under 10 years of age, except for children transported by parents with a trailer (available for rent at the Outdoor Center).

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens.
Additional tours: in August also on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

With a herbal fairy, we dive into forgotten knowledge to discover the natural powers of alpine plants. The easy hike leads along the valley path of the Pflersch Valley to the herb garden, with its many rarities. At the end, the herb gardeners of the Wipptal invite you to a tasting at the herb manufactory at the Botenhof.

Every Friday, from the beginning of April to mid-October, farmers from the Sterzing area offer their local quality products at the farmers' market. At the market in the town square of Sterzing, people meet for the weekly purchase of local South Tyrolean products or for a "glass of wine". The varied offer ranges from traditional bacon and “Kaminwurzen” , fresh and smoked trout, cheese and yogurt specialties, homemade bread, organic wines, herbs, honey, eggs to homemade juices and fresh vegetables. Locals and guests have appreciated the market for over a decade now.
Tip: Do not miss the delicious “Krapfen and Tirtler” of the Wipptaler farmers' wives!
Get to know Sterzing better with a guided city tour and let our guides take you back to long-forgotten times. From the town's history to architectural styles, relics of mining, and influences of various developments and epochs, you will gain many interesting insights.

"A well-rounded experience" - preparing original South Tyrolean dumplings
Experience a guided panoramic hike over the Platschjoch to the rustic Ungererhof in Schluppes, where we prepare original South Tyrolean dumplings together. Walter will show you the right way to shape the dumplings. Afterwards, we will taste the delicious traditional dish together. You will receive the recipe and a cooking apron, so that you can make this classic South Tyrolean dish at home.
Drinks are not included in the price!

Since the time of the Romans, wine has been cultivated on the sunny slopes of the Wipptal. Today, 2000 years later, there are once again some pioneers who utilize the milder climate for viticulture. Peter Faistnauer is one of them; he operates the first winery in the Wipptal. Since 2015, he has been cultivating the white wine variety Solaris. After visiting the vineyards, the special wine will be tasted in the old barn.
Dogs are not allowed.
It is not possible to navigate the paths with a stroller, and the entire tour is not wheelchair accessible.

The traditional Brenner market takes place every 5th and 20th of the month throughout the year. If this day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, then the market takes place on Saturday before. At the market stalls many different interesting things, such as clothing, utensils and goodies for snacking are waiting.

The "Seven Lakes Tour" is a demanding but truly rewarding hike in the Ridnaun high mountains. We save the first two hours and 600 metres in altitude thanks to the shuttle that takes us from Maiern to the Moarerbergalm. From there we dive into the unmistakable world of the glacier lakes, in whose mostly calm surface shimmering sky spectacles are impressively reflected. For thousands of years, the lakes have been witnesses to the glacial world of the Ice Age. On our circular hike we enjoy the dreamlike view of the Moarer Weißen, also called the Ridnaun Dolomites.
Ascent: 2h - 600 vertical meters and 3km (moderately steep)
Descent: 4 to 6 hours - 1,350 vertical meters and 11 km (steep and bumpy)
A break is made halfway along the Trüber See lake with your own provisions, no stop at a hut is planned.
The hike only takes place in optimal weather conditions!
Surefootedness, good stamina and a head for heights are necessary for some short passages!
Lush alpine meadows, inviting huts and the majestic Tribulaun within reach! From the valley station (meeting point), we take the cable car to the Ladurns mountain station. The trail first leads past the smal lakes "Ladurner Lacken" and continues along the Dolomieu trail to the Teissljöchl/Edelweißhütte hut. This is followed by a short ascent to the Wastenegg, from where you can enjoy the magnificent panorama of the jagged rock faces of the Tribulaun. Continue slightly downhill to the Teissljöchl and turn left to the hut Edelweißhütte (refreshments available). Finally, an easy hike along a forest path to the Ladurnerhütte, where you will be served a delicious Kaiserschmarrn pancake.
Total duration: approx. 4-5h / 400 hm / pure walking time 3h / difficulty: medium.
