From the parking lot in the village Obertelfes (1,300 m), follow trail no. 5 to the Freundalm alpine hut (1,735 m). Continue along trail no. 5 and then switch to trail no. 6, which becomes steeper, leading to the Ochsenscharte. From there, trail no. 23 takes you across rocky terrain to a ridge, where a short chimney section with a rope-assisted passage (note: this is not a via ferrata) brings you to the summit of Telfer Weißen (2,588 m). From the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ridnauntal Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges. The return route mostly follows the same path, with a short detour to the Ochsenalm and Kuhalm alpine huts, where you’ll find opportunities to stop for food and rest. Enjoy a relaxing summer evening in the show garden at the Farm Botenhof in the Pflersch Valley, right in the heart of the Wipptal Herb Gardens. With a refreshing aperitif in hand, you can discover the healing world of local alpine plants in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Listen to fascinating stories and uncover the secrets of the herbs that thrive in this natural setting. The event lasts about 1.5 hours and no registration is required. The mountain festival in Gossensass and the Pflersch/Fleres valley. From saturday July 12th to sunday July 27th 2025, everything in Gossensass/Colle Isarco and the Pflersch/Fleres valley will be under the sign of herbs. Traditional herbal dishes, seminars and great hikes will enrich your stay. Get to know the flowers and herbs of the Alps better and take a look at the beneficial power of mountain plants. In addition to the evening mountain dinner at the Edelweisshütte and the herb festival in Ladurns, the highlight of this year's festival is the photo competition.

From the Provincial Mining Museum in Maiern/Ridnaun, trail no. 9 takes us on a relaxed, leisurely hike to the entrance of the wild Burkhardklamm gorge. At the waterfall, we breathe in the finely atomized aerosol of the Fernerbach stream, and the invigorating effect of these healing drops is immediately noticeable. You will experience the health-promoting effect that our scientific study at the Paracelsus Salzburg Private University has shown. We find peace and relaxation by becoming aware of nature with all our senses. The alpine hut Aglsbodenalm invites you to a cozy stop. With Kneipp treatments, we also let the calming power of the water work its magic on us on the way back. Participation in the hike is possible from the age of 6. Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs towards Ridnaun Valley up to Maiern. The meeting point is conveniently accessible by bus line 312 towards Ridnaun/Maiern. It is the last stop. Arrival at 9:38 AM, the tour starts just 5 minutes later! The return trip to Sterzing is possible at 3:05 PM from the same stop. Tip: The guided hike ends around 3:00 PM – the perfect time to join a tour at the Mining Museum, which starts at 3:15 PM. A great way to enjoy both experiences in one day. Mountain hike, starting from Flading (1,485m), via trail no. 30 to the Gleckalm (2,265m - not serviced). The first part of the ascent takes us through predominantly wooded terrain via the so-called Stiegen up to the altitude of the Klammalm. This is followed by a short, flatter section before we tackle the second altitude level. Passing the impressive Gleckbach waterfall, we quickly gain altitude. Another beautiful waterfall, which flows into a deep basin, can be seen at the top of the second altitude step. After reaching the ridge, the plateau of the Gleckalm opens up with great views. Take a picnic break here or at the nearby Gleckalm mountain hut. The return route follows the ascent path in the upper section and then leads us to the Klammalm, where a stop for refreshments is planned. We then descend to Flading via trail no. 12. Total distance: 9.2 km Ascent altitude: 780 m Total duration: 7 hours (including breaks) Difficulty: challenging - short, slightly exposed sections, surefootedness is required, good physical condition is essential. During the treasure hunt in the great outdoors, we learn all kinds of interesting facts about the different breeds of cows in South Tyrol, why a cow produces milk and how butter used to be made. As we continue our walk to the Kneipp area, we go in hunt of dairy products and finally get to shake and taste butter ourselves. Who can solve the exciting quizzes and follow the trail of the treasure hunt? We then visit the animals on the farm and finish with a delicious yogurt ice cream.

During a herbal walk, we learn about the most important local plants and their uses. We then make a tincture and an oil extract with plant material under instruction. We then use these extracts to make various products together (e.g. lip balm, insect bite roller, ointment ...). Afterwards, the participants can take home 1 product of each of the treasures they have made (with the corresponding instructions for production and recipe). We experience an unforgettable morning atmosphere on the Jaufenpass and let ourselves be enchanted by the unique atmosphere. This is followed by a leisurely hike along the ridge to the Rinneralm. After a hearty alpine breakfast with regional products, we return to the starting point. The breakfast includes homemade bread, real alpine butter, various jams, cakes, alpine cheese, sausages, muesli, yoghurt, eggs, fried eggs with bacon, juices and warm drinks. Mount up, start cycling and head up high! This panoramic tour takes you from the valley station in Sterzing via Telfes to Sterzing's famous local mountain - the Rosskopf. You climb around 800 meters in altitude in a relaxed pace on a wide forest road, accompanied by a certified South Tyrolean bike guide. Once at the top, cozy huts, delicious South Tyrolean specialties (not included) and a magnificent view over the Isarco Valley to the Dolomites await you. The return journey takes you via the Telfer Almen or - if you prefer - by cable car. Difficulty: moderate Participants: minimum 3 and maximum 10 people Registration deadline until Monday 5:00 p.m.

The guided summit hike takes us from the Ratschings-Jaufen mountain station past the Wasserfaller Alm to the Rinnersattel. We reach the 2,331-metre-high Fleckner via the Jaufenkamm ridge. On the way back to the mountain station we pass the Äußere Wumblsalm and stop at the mountain hut Wasserfalleralm. This hike is only recommended for people aged 14 and over.

At the organic farm Gogerer you can visit the cows and chickens in the barn and on the pasture together with the farmer's wife Margareth. How does the milk get from the grass into the glass? An experience for young and old. You can be with the animals, stroke and feed them - you can be there too! At the end you have the opportunity to taste some products such as milk and organic yoghurt.

For nature lovers, there is nothing more beautiful than vibrant colors and delightful scents. This tour offers experiences for all the senses: colorful herb fields, aromatic oils wafting into the nose, delightful flavors during tasting, and perfect tranquility. We start with a visit to the herb garden, explore the drying and processing rooms, discover a variety of herbal products, and conclude our tour with a small but exquisite product tasting of fresh tea, fruity syrup, and spicy schnapps. Those interested in herbs will surely take home a wealth of knowledge about the cultivation, drying, storage, and use of our medicinal and culinary plants. The guided e-bike tour starts at the Rent and Go bike rental at the Ratschings valley station. We start with a group game and playfully learn the most important riding safety tips. Afterwards we drive together along the Pfeifer Huisele path to Flading to the barefoot path with Kneipp facility. There we have a little refreshment at the witches' fountain. Fun balancing exercises await us before we head back to the starting point. The ride leads from Ibsenplatz in Gossensass (alternatively from the Oudoor Center bike rental in Sterzing) along the Brenner cycle route north to Giggelberg. After a pleasant ascent, we visit part of the Pflersch Valley with a turn-off to the Route232 snack station. Here we can enjoy a short break with a vital snack on the sun terrace. Rising between the mountains Telfer Weißen and Wetterspitze, the the mountain peak Seeberspitz reaches an impressive 2,567 metres – a striking peak in the southern Stubai Alps. To save some elevation gain, we take the Ladurns cable car up to the mountain station. From there, our scenic and varied hike toward the summit begins. The panoramic trail takes about three hours and leads through stunning alpine landscapes. It first crosses expansive alpine meadows, dotted with larches and wildflowers, and passes the picturesque Lake Seeber, a tranquil mountain lake nestled between rocky slopes. Beyond the lake, the trail becomes more demanding: scree fields and rocky terrain require sure-footedness, a head for heights, and good fitness. At the summit, a breathtaking 360° panorama awaits: from the rugged Stubai Alps and the majestic Tribulaun to the distant Dolomites and far down into the Pflerschtal Valley – a view that rewards every step. An unforgettable mountain experience for gourmets and nature lovers: take the Rosskopf cable car and the panorama lift up to 2,200 m to the legendary wishing bell. Once rung, it carries your wishes over the peaks of the Alps. We then take a leisurely hike to the Telfer Almen and on to the rustic Kuhalm - where you will be treated to a grey cheese tasting. The Jaufental is an extraordinary valley of nature's tranquillity, and it is precisely here that we seduce you and your family and show you wonderful natural places. We experience the element of water at the Gurgl waterfall and while treading water at the mountain pasture, where we stop for refreshments. We discover various herbs and alpine flowers along the way. Suitable for families and children aged 5 and over. Not suitable for baby carriages!

The Waterfall Trail begins in the village of St. Anton in the upper Pflerschtal. In about 2.5 hours of ascent, we hike along the Waterfall Trail and reach the Furtalm at 1690 meters above sea level. We pass numerous waterfalls, accompanied by stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape. After a relaxing lunch break, we will hike back down into the valley to the starting point. Total duration: approx. 6 hours / approx. 500 meters of elevation gain / pure walking time 4.5 hours / Difficulty: Medium. Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them.
