Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the honey bee. Together with beekeeper Michael you will open a beehive at one of his traveling stands, watch the watch the busy little bees at work and learn learn all kinds of interesting facts about them. The crowning glory is a tasting of various honey of various honey products. Photographs and videos may be taken at the event for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event and the area. A visit of the Martinerhof is an experience for all beer lovers and those who want to learn more about the art of brewing beer. Under expert guidance, you will learn how our beer "Martinsbräu" is brewed and you can visit the brewhouse, the heart of every brewery, the fermentation and storage cellar, the malt tower and the bottling plant. Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairy Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. Join beekeeper Michael every Wednesday at 4:00 PM for an unforgettable journey into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping. Open a beehive with him, take a selfie with the queen bee and sample fresh honey straight from the comb—if you're feeling brave! This is followed by a tasting of over 10 different specialties made from and with honey. Some of his award-winning products are not only healthy, they are real palate ticklers. Bee tours are available from early May to late September every Wednesday, or by request outside of these dates. In the outside area of the Bunker Museum, a spacious enclosure provides an opportunity to watch ibexes from a close distance. These impressive game animals are the unofficial national symbol of the Texelgruppe Nature Park and populate the Hinterpasseier also in the wild. They demonstrate their climbing skills in the rocky terrain at the bunker and hardly let themselves be disturbed by our guests. In addition, the Bunker Mooseum offers a wealth of unforgettable impressions and experiences, exciting history, science, impressive nature and landscape. The guided tour will be in German.

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian. Take part in the icy experience with our mountain guide Robert Ciatti and feel the glacier with all your senses. Take the cable car from Kurzras to the glacier. The rest of the route takes you to the glacier tongue. From here, you will use harnesses, crampons and a rope to cross the Hochjochferner glacier. You will be shown the special features of the fascinating glacier world and daredevils can be abseiled into a crevasse. The descent is via the Schöne Aussicht mountain hut back to Kurzras. Guided tour of the church and visit to the Romanesque three apses church of St. Margarethen. It is one of the Romanesque sites in South Tyrol and represents an art-historical treasure of European value. On the Romanesque Road you will come across numerous documents from earlier times. From the "Foolish Virgins" and the "Dumpling Eater", to one of the oldest churches in Tyrol, the smallest town in the Alps and the highest Benedictine monastery in Europe, as well as other Romanesque frescoes and sites of unspeakable value, these are all part of the "Stairway to Heaven" project. ONLY IN GERMAN OR ITALIAN Niedereben Farm is situated at an altitude of 634 metres on Nörderberg mountain. Benefiting from the advantageous climate, olives, grapes and cacti all flourish here. The Hofer family supplies the local organic specialist retailer (Biokistl) with its fruit and vegetables and sells a variety of home produced, typical South Tyrolean organic products in their own farm shop. Cows, pigs, quails, ducks, geese and chickens all feel like “pigs in clover” on the farm! This introduction to the long history of the farm gives visitors an insight into livestock husbandry and wine growing on the Vinschgau’s Nörderberg mountain and shows the route taken from the first olives to the production of the farm’s own olive oil. The following products are available to buy directly from the farm shop: speck (bacon), salami, smoked sausages, cooked herb-crusted ham, Coppa ham, farmer’s speck, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and in the autumn months chestnuts and pumpkins, apple juice and Vernatsch wine.

We take the Brenner motorway to Rovereto. Through the Loppio Valley and the Passo San Givanni we already reach the north-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Torbole. We drive along the eastern shore to Malcesine. There we enjoy a longer stay to get to know the famous town on the eastern shore. In the early afternoon we take a private boat to Limone. Via Arco and the Sarca Valley past the beautifully situated Lake Toblino and through the narrow Vela Gorge we reach the Adige Valley again and the Brenner motorway back to Schenna.

Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. In 1492, the present late Gothic wall pillar church was consecrated. Josef Weingartner counts it among the "most beautiful Gothic churches in the country" in his "Art Monuments of South Tyrol". The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley. The guided tour takes one hour and starts at the museum entrance. The guided tour is only available in German.

Traditional Bread Baking at the Tholer Farm The South Tyrolean kitchen is characterised by well-preserved old traditions. Elisabeth and Ernst of the Tholer farm let you sneak a peek behind the curtains and reveal to you their recipe for the traditional Paarl bread. Together you prepare the rye dough, form the bread and bake it in the old stone stove. You learn interesting facts about the rye cultivation and local baking tradition, and receive a recipe and some bread to take with you.

What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. This hike promises not only breathtaking landscapes, but also insights into the history of the channels, the steppe vegetation on the Monte Sole and the thermal water of Bad Kochenmoos. After 1945, many bunkers remained operational during the "Cold War" until they were decommissioned in the 1990s and transferred to the Province of South Tyrol. Some of these defensive structures hold historical significance, offering unique architectural insights today. The bunker at Töll was acquired by the municipalities of Algund and Marling and has been made accessible for guided visits.
