In my long career as a fashion photographer, travel has always been a fundamental and exciting part of my work. I’ve worked in many different places—from Peru to Australia, the United States to India—facing challenges like high altitudes, difficult weather conditions, and unusual means of transport. With my team—comprising stylists, models, and assistants—I have always tried to tell stories of fashion through unique landscapes and cities. This exhibition, hosted at the Hans Glauber Library in Toblach, presents a selection of my photographs that not only showcase fashion but also share the adventures I experienced during my travels. I am happy to share my work with the public and hope that the exhibition will entertain and inspire all who visit. — Giovanni Lunardi

On August 22, 1925, Max Glauber founded the company UNDA Radio in Dobbiaco. The anniversary exhibition showcases radio models from various eras and traces the development of the company. An interactive area demonstrates that the “heart” (or “Hertz”) of analog radio technology is still beating: Representatives of the Radio Museum Association of South Tyrol offer insights into the inner workings of historic radio devices and host a weekly repair café.

Art meets history: an exciting joint exhibition with artists from Val Gardena/Gröden to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the SS hostages in Villabassa. Artistic creation, whether in wood, on canvas or through photography, as a fragile fragment of freedom.

Dolomythos-Museum at Innichen presents: Women scientists Many women, hardly mentioned in earlier times, made important contributions. We honour these often forgotten personalities, as well as the reserches of ordinary people from the valleys.

On Friday, 19 September 2025, from 6:30 PM, another musical highlight of the “Sexten Mountain & Music” series will take place at the restraurant Zin Fux. In their lecture, historians Albert Kamelger and Günther Walder shed light on the events and developments in Niederdorf/Villabassa during the Second World War. Using documents, pictures, and stories, they illustrate how global political upheavals were reflected in the everyday life of the village community. An evening that brings local history to life and makes it understandable.

This event will be held in Italian only. Timber construction and the view of the Dolomites – a symbiosis that shapes and makes building in Sexten unique. The evening at Palazzo Cavanis in Venice, organized by the Sexten Tourism Association together with the company Holzius, is inspired by the Biennale Architettura 2025. Look forward to an evening that focuses on architecture, innovative timber construction, and the impressive backdrop of the Sexten Dolomites. SOUTH TYROL. is an exhibition project by Kunst Meran, created in collaboration with the South Tyrol Architecture Foundation and the South Tyrol Artists' Association, and curated by Filippo Bricolo. The exhibition will be on display at Palazzo Cavanis in Venice until 23rd November 2025. It presents a comprehensive overview of the architectural development process in South Tyrol between 2018 and 2024, recounting the region's recent architectural history and reflecting the ongoing transformations of the Alpine built environment. The exhibition project is generously supported by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – Departments of German Culture, Italian Culture and Ladin Culture – and by the Sparkasse Foundation.

We take the bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and from there the cable car up to the Helm (2.050 m). The Olperl’s Nature Park starts directly at the mountain station of the Helm cable car and leads to Olperl's best friends - into the realm of the alpine animal world. On the 1,5 km long circular trail you can discover 10 exciting adventure points - with great views of the summit world of the Sesto Dolomites. Exploring Olperl's Natur Park on the highest barefoot trail in the Dolomites (2.150 m) is soothing and healthy. Soft moss, fragrant larch wood, stone slabs or pebbles revitalise the foot reflex zones before the feet are bathed in cooling spring water.
