Gabriele Ciot, from Cortina d'Ampezzo, has been passionate about drawing since a young age, graduating from the Cortina Art Institute in 2006. He later took watercolor and drawing courses and exhibited his works in exhibitions between Cortina and Padua. He prefers trees and mountains as his subjects, fascinated by the shapes and contrasts that light creates on them.

The Prags/Braies music band invites guests and locals to a concert in the open air in Schmieden/Ferrara. The concert program is individual and lively. There is sure to be something for everyone! Admission is free.

San Candido Celebrates: Three Days of Music, Flavors, and Fun for Everyone It’s that special time again: the beloved “Innichner Maktlfest” returns this year – as tradition dictates, every two years – and promises an unforgettable weekend for young and old alike. From Friday evening to Sunday, the center of San Candido will transform into a lively festival village, featuring 16 associations from San Candido, Versciaco, and Prato Drava, all ready to offer a rich and varied program. The official opening is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. Musical performances in a variety of genres – rock, pop, and traditional music – will take turns on four different stages. Among the featured bands are Vollgas, The Jam’sons, One Night Band, and the Jungböhmische Pichl. Don’t miss the nightclub in the basement of the Josef Resch House, where electrifying beats will keep the party going late into the night. The festivities continue on Saturday, starting in the morning with a concert by the Sankt Florian music band at the pavilion, during a tasty brunch organized by the San Candido music band’s stand. In the evening, the musical program picks up energy again, with performances by Tiroler Wind, 4krnyer, Die Woazgruiba, and Queen Laurin, all ready to get everyone dancing and singing. Sunday will be all about music and families. The Family Counseling Center (Elki) and the Family Association will offer a rich children’s program featuring puppet theater, games, and plenty of fun. Musically, the day will bring even more special highlights.

The Gustav Mahler Music Weeks are celebrating their 45th anniversary in 2025 and will take place in Dobbiaco from 12 July to 5 August. The festival honours the composer, who created his last masterpieces here, with top-class orchestral and chamber music concerts, an international symposium on the topic of ‘Mahler and humour’ and exciting lectures. A special highlight is the hike to the composer's cottage with musical accompaniment. The concerts take place in the Gustav Mahler Hall of the Grand Hotel Toblach cultural centre - surrounded by the impressive backdrop of the Dolomites.

Alma Mahler welcomes you The composition house in Carbonin Vecchia reopens its doors in the summer months....with a very special hostess Anyone who cultivates a passion for culture and music knows that Dobbiaco holds a treasure trove. Lying on a meadow overlooking the village and the entire valley, close to the forest towards Pian di Maia, is a small, simple wooden building. The building at first glance appears very modest, but stands proud and aware of its incredible significance and history. Between those planks, in fact, the famous Bohemian composer Gustav Mahler, accompanied by his beloved Alma, between the summers of 1908 and 1910, found peace and inspiration to compose some of his most beautiful and important symphonies, among them 'Das Lied von der Erde' (The Song of the Earth). After careful restoration, the composition house at the Trenkerhof finally reopens its doors to all those who want to breathe in the history and atmosphere of the Belle Epoque. During the summer months of July and August, every Wednesday and every Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., in collaboration with the Santer Family, owner of the cultural asset, every visitor will have the chance to step back in time and breathe in the magic of those places and the surrounding nature. They will be welcomed by a very special hostess... Alma, the composer's beloved companion until her death in 1911, herself an eclectic and important figure in the history of world culture, who will make the visit even more special with stories and anecdotes. Together with the hiking guide, you will hike from Altprags/Braies Vecchia up to the rustic Putzalm hut, where a small alpine snack awaits you. The hut landlord Seppl is known for his typical, delicious dishes! After a refreshment stop, you hike up to the Allwartstein summit (1,954 m), where you have a breathtaking view. The descent takes you back to the starting point at Altprags/Braies Vecchia on a variant of the ascent route. The pure walking time of the circular hike is 4 hours with 600 metres of ascent.

This event will not be held in English. During the nature walk,you will learn the effect of the herbs and their healing properties. At the end of the hike you can enjoy a delicious snack made from the herbs you have collected together.

Enter the via ferrata at the first rays of sunlight. Up to the summit cross, everyone can enjoy the quiet dawn in the Dolomites for themselves. Experience a fascinating sunrise with a stunning view of the Three Peaks at the summit of the Paternkofel.
