A festivity for all the senses! Let yourself be enchanted by an impressive parade through the heart of Sand in Taufers. Afterwards, the volunteer fire department welcomes you to an unforgettable summer festival.

Fair in Oberluttach with live music, from 10.00 a.m. pint and from 6.00 p.m. raffle

The local music band organizes the annual traditional summer party in Lappago-Lappach centre. Entertainment, music, dancing and local dishes.

The famous Potato Run: three-quarters of half marathon: from Bruneck/Brunico to Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. Registration only online. Route (17,6 km): Start at town square Bruneck (835 m), the run continues to Kapuzinerplatz square and Kolping House, from there via Dietenheimer road to Aufhofen, along the cycleway to Gais, to Uttenheim, Kematen and to Bad Winkel, crossing the Ahr river near Cascade pool and along the road Daimerstrasse to the finish at the fairground in Sand in Taufers (870 m). Mini Potato Run in Sand in Taufers. Register online at www.potato-run.com. Late registrations are still possible from 13:30 in the finish area of the main run at Tubrisplatz. The registration fee of €10.00 or €15.00 for late registrations includes a voucher for chips, medal or trophy, start number with integrated timing chip and refreshments at the finish.

The awards ceremony for the children's and youth categories will take place at 17:00 in the pavilion with medals for everyone and trophies for the first 3 in each category, girls and boys separately.

Petra invites you to explore the balance between strength and ease through mindful movement and conscious breath. As a certified RYT500 teacher from Sand in Taufers, with extensive training in India, Petra brings her deep connection to yoga into each class. Her guidance is clear and caring, allowing for a safe and personal practice. She holds space with sensitivity, so each student can follow what the heart needs in that moment. Small impulses inspire beyond the mat – honest, sometimes bold, sometimes gentle, but always heartfelt.

The Ensemble Haar and the municipality of Ahrntal invite you to a chamber concert. Enjoy chamber music by various string ensembles in the mining museum Kornkasten in Steinhaus/Ahrntal valley. Entrance: voluntary donation

The sheeps and cattles return from mountain pastures back to native farm: that's the reason why farmers celebrate the end of the pasture's season.

Advent event in Steinhaus/Ahrntal valley: nativity scene exhibition, got drinks and music

Folk music, dedicated to the Christ Child, Advent and Christmas. Powerful singing of pure voices, plucked, tapped and blown instruments full of melodiousness. The parish church in Taufers is the setting for a musical and lyrical prelude to the most beautiful family celebration of the year.
