The special summer experience: take off your clothes and jump into the waterfall! What initially takes some effort turns out to be an overwhelming physical experience. With a lunch snack at Angelika's idyllic mountain hut. Not recommended if you have high blood pressure or are pregnant.

Starting at the soccer field on the forest road ‘Wosaalmen’ and continuing on the marked path N. 29 to below the ‘kleines Tor’.
Altitude metres: 1,000 m
Course: 3,800 m
Award ceremony:
At 2 pm in the starting area. Prizes will be awarded to the first three runners in all categories.
Children's vertical run: approx. 150 metres in altitude.
Start at 10 am at the ‘Obergass-Oberhütte’.

The Sand in Taufers Food Festival - often copied but never equaled - is once again the meeting place for lovers of good food and entertainment in the fresh air. Four moody Tuesday nights reserved for fun and good taste!

Strudel show: The apple strudel is one of the South Tyrolean specialties. The confectioner Christian from the Ahrntal valley shows his special tricks to make this delicacy a success. With him, the workshop will be an enjoyable experience.

The handball association Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures invites you to the biggest youth handball tournament in the Alps!
Where? On the artificial turf pitch in Mühlen in Taufers/Molini di Tures

Approx. 300 exciting games will be played from Saturday to Sunday. The award ceremony on Sunday at 14:30 is the highlight of the event.

11 nations and over 2000 youngsters including teams from Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Croatia will take part in this exciting handball tournament on the sunny side of the Alps.

5 outdoor courts on the artificial turf pitch in Mühlen/Molini will be the center of the action for three days, guaranteeing a large crowd. However, should it rain, the tournament will be held in two halls.


Insight into the course of the tournament:

- Friday from 21.00: Opening ceremony in the village center of Sand in Taufers
- Saturday from 08.00 am: start of the tournament on the artificial turf pitch in Sand in Taufers and preliminary round matches
- Sunday from 08.30 am: Playing of the last preliminary round matches
- Sunday afterwards: Start of the final round
- Sunday from 14.30 approx.: Award ceremony

“Luchticha Kischta” – fair in Lutago/Luttach

Saturday: Traditional tree pulling into a fairground, from about 14.00 put up the Kischta-Michl tree and from 18.00 dance

Sunday: from 11.00 o'clock brunch and concert, from 13.00 dance and from about 18.00 raffle of the Kischta-Michl-tree and other great prizes

Every Saturday in July and August: A visit from the Sun Witch or a fun-filled children's program (face painting, meeting the llamas, and more).

Intensively you will discover the healing high-altitude air, which is clean and free of toxic elements. At the nature-bath we will try some Kneipp-exercises with cold water and walk on a barefoot-way and at the same time the immune-system will be strengthened.
