Climb aboard the mine railway and let yourself be carried leisurely into the mountain. Once you arrive in the Climate gallery area, an atmosphere of tranquility awaits you: gentle sounds and soothing music accompany your relaxation. Wrapped in warm blankets and with a hot water bottle, you can lean back while a herbal tea warms you from the inside. Take time to breathe in and savour the pure, cool tunnel air.
The special microclimate underground - cool, moist and pure - supports your airways and helps you to switch off completely. Even chronic respiratory illnesses such as asthma, bronchitis or sinus problems can be noticeably alleviated.

Warm clothes are required and sturdy footwear for the entry into the gallery is recommended. Helmets and raincoats are provided by the Museum. Access to the Climate gallery is only permitted in clean slippers or trainers/shoes. Please bring a clean change of shoes. Upon request, the museum will provide felt slippers free of charge.
Safe in the bosom of the earth, you are there just for yourself, with everyday life far away on the outside, while fascinating music surrounds you. Various singing bowls, gons and other instruments are played in these sound baths. Soft sounds and dim lighting will lead you into a world where you can slow down for two hours, cut off from all outside contact. The mountain takes you into itself, free from all electromagnetic radiation, pollen, fine dust or hectic activity.

A special event for all allergy and hay fever sufferers! As the pollen count in the air rises, many allergy sufferers begin to sense problems with their respiratory tracts. So it's time for a trip to the Climate gallery! The ideal hygienic conditions of the air there can help relieve allergy-related and other breathing problems. On two Saturdays in May, the South Tyrol Mining Museum will be inviting all those suffering from pollen allergies to enjoy a free taster visit to the Climate gallery. The mine railway will bring guests into the gallery where they can stay and relax for 1.5 hours, enjoying clean, pollen-free air.

Prettau – Copper with a Future Free guided tour “Adventure in the Mine” as well as the special tour “Copper Cement – Raw Material of the Future?” with artist Paul Feichter (11 AM & 3 PM), who presents sustainable copper production in Prettau. Afterwards, there will be a creative outdoor workshop: small commemorative plaques made of copper sheet will be crafted.
