Using AI images and illustrations, the Touriseum offers a glimpse into the future of travelling. This uncertain future comes to life, prompting reflection and even dreaming. Let yourself be inspired as you explore the possibilities and challenges of the coming age of travel. “The Future of Travelling” presents a collection of creative short texts and their artistic interpretations that will challenge the limits of our imagination. From hypermodern means of transport to sustainable travel options and virtual travel experiences, the exhibition explores a variety of themes that might shape travelling in the coming decades.

“LATEMAR – Wild Beauty” Multivision presentation by Valentin Pardeller The Latemar is a striking mountain group on the edge of the Dolomites, known for its wild beauty, unique geology, and cultural richness. In this immersive multivision presentation, Valentin Pardeller captures the essence of this remarkable region through powerful imagery. The story begins with the geological origins of the Latemar, once a coral reef, and explores the old mining tunnels that tell of a long-forgotten past. The Latemar's role as a linguistic boundary is highlighted, along with its dramatic rock formations and distinctive alpine flora. The forest of Latemar is presented as a source of fine tonewood for musical instruments. Finally, the legend of the mermaid of Lake Carezza adds a touch of mystery to this breathtaking landscape. We start the tour with a cultural village excursion. During this cultural tour, participants receive informative tips about Algund and its surroundings, interesting facts about St. Joseph's church, the Maria Steinach monastery and the history of Algund. For four days from September 18 to 21, the motto in Olang is: Go out together and collect trash at the CleanUP Days! The campaign is organized by the non-profit association Patron. In addition to Olang, eight South Tyrolean destinations are participating in the first edition. Registration and coordination of the routes will take place via the CleanUP Map (interactive map) at www.plasticfreepeaks.com. Here, participants can directly specify the date and route of their self-selected tour. The required CleanUP Kit for all those interested, consisting of a recyclable and reusable fabric bag and a pair of stainless steel pliers, can be picked up free of charge at the Tourist Office Olang before setting off.

Those who take part on these days can expect not only the wonderful feeling of having set an example for nature, but also a special kind of outdoor experience together. All participants receive a free CleanUP Kit consisting of a reusable bag and a high-quality stainless steel garbage tong. This kit can be obtained at one of the numerous distribution stations. The night sky has fascinated humans since ancient times. With an expert eye you can discover many things about stars, planets and constellations. Julian, an astronomy enthusiast, takes us with him during this night observation taking advantage of the total darkness to admire the beauty of the universe.

In their lecture, historians Albert Kamelger and Günther Walder shed light on the events and developments in Niederdorf/Villabassa during the Second World War. It presents a comprehensive overview of the architectural development process in South Tyrol between 2018 and 2024, recounting the region's recent architectural history and reflecting the ongoing transformations of the Alpine built environment. The exhibition project is generously supported by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – Departments of German Culture, Italian Culture and Ladin Culture – and by the Sparkasse Foundation.

Reading a good book can change our lives, open up new horizons and allow us to engage in dialogue with people who lived in other eras. However, reading plays an increasingly marginal role in our daily lives, which are inundated with commitments and multimedia content. A book, on the other hand, requires time and concentration, which seems to be increasingly difficult for us. Why does it seem so difficult to really devote ourselves to reading? What is the difference between reading a book and consuming online content? Philosophical Café introduced and moderated by Camilla Stirati, graduate in philosophy. The meeting is open to the public and no specific preparation is required to participate, only the desire to question oneself without prejudice.
