Art, and in particular visual art, is one of the most effective languages in communication; it manages to convey ideas and feelings, often without the need for ‘linguistic’ translations. CLS has always believed that stimulating the approach to art is a means of encouraging encounters and overcoming barriers. Observing, admiring, studying works of art is fascinating, but then why not ‘talk’ about them with those who create them?
Five well-known artists, differing in their technical and stylistic approaches, age and genre, will take part in the dialogue and present some of their works.
In Italian only
Through direct testimonies and expert talks, the event aims to raise awareness and stimulate a constructive dialogue on the future of the rights of rainbow families and people involved in surrogacy pathways.
The program will feature the testimonies of Danilo and Christian, who became parents through surrogacy, and, remotely connected, that of Savannah Campbell, a pregnant woman involved in a successful surrogacy pathway.

Bolzano. The Centro Trevi-Trevilab offers a truly extraordinary opportunity to get closer to the fascinating, and in some ways still mysterious, Etruscan culture. It does so with the exhibition 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen', promoted by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Italian Culture, thanks to the collaboration of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, directed by Luana Toniolo, a museum that preserves the most important collection of Etruscan finds in the world. The exhibition, curated by Valentina Belfiore and Maria Paola Guidobaldi of the museum's curatorial team, is part of the second stage of the 'Stories of Art with Great Museums' event, a multi-year journey aimed at discovering the great ancient and modern civilisations, 'another fundamental step towards learning about our past with the aim of keeping interest in culture and the rich artistic heritage preserved in Italy's great museums alive,' emphasised Marco Galateo, Vice President of the Province and Councillor for Italian Culture.
The title 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen' already introduces the particular slant of the Bolzano exhibition: it is not a generic exhibition on the Etruscans, but focuses on a specific aspect of their great civilisation, that of artistic and craft production.
Women Sport Festival: this is the title of the conference series - scheduled from 4 to 14 December - that the city of Merano is dedicating to women's sport in its various aspects. Exceptional testimonials and speakers are expected to participate. Sports councillor Nerio Zaccaria: ‘An important moment of reflection on the different facets of women's sport, with a special focus on gender equality.
The talent and strength of women in the various sporting disciplines, their successes, but also the cultural and social barriers that still exist in relation to their role in physical activities and in sport in general, gender stereotypes, the theme of abuse, violence, and addictions. These are just some of the topics that will be addressed and discussed during the Women Sport Festival, scheduled from 4 to 14 December in Merano, and which will see the participation of outstanding speakers. ‘The 2024 edition of the Sports Festival is consciously dedicated to the extraordinarily growing universe of women's sport,’ explained the Sports Councillor of the Municipality of Merano Nerio Zaccaria at a press conference.

Sexual abuse of children and young people is a widespread crime that is rarely talked about. It affects various areas of life. As adults, we are responsible for the well-being of our children and young people. We must therefore take a stand against all forms of violence and abuse. Those affected suffer the consequences for the rest of their lives and remain silent - out of shame. In sensitively conducted interviews, the psychotherapist and author allows those affected to talk about their personal experiences and the phases of coming to terms with them. A book and a lecture on sexual abuse that help to understand, offer support and make it impossible for society to look away.

Following basic guidelines on the piste is crucial, just as it is in any other context.
To make these guidelines clearer, the ski instructors of the Corvara Ski School together with the various organisations will provide you with a list of behaviours to follow. In addition, you will be able to attend a piste rescue simulation to learn how to deal with emergency situations effectively. You will be able to watch an avalanche rescue simulation and search dog rescue. Your safety is our priority.
The ski school instructors will add a touch of magic to the evening by parading down the slope in an atmospheric torchlight procession.
During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.
