Guido Contin, known as Cognac, is old and owns nothing but a mysterious folder filled with letters addressed to the peaks of the mountains. These handwritten pages belong to a man who signs as Onesto and tells the dramatic story of his life: his relationship with his twin brother Santo, his encounter with Celeste, war, death, and an unspoken love.
