Linara Mountain Family Stay

Since July 2025, linara mountain family stay has been welcoming families to unforgettable holidays in the heart of South Tyrol’s mountains. Our newly renovated family hotel is located in the lush green valley of Vals, in the famous Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region – a true paradise for families. At linara, guests can choose between apartments, suites, and rooms, all beautifully designed with local larch and oak wood, plenty of natural light, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere – breakfast is always included. The name linara stands for “little nature ranger” – a place where little explorers can experience big adventures. Right outside the door you’ll find a Bioland farm with small animals, a berry hedge, aromatic herb garden, summer and autumn corn maze, adventure playground, and a large meadow for free play. The former mountain farmhouse has been transformed into “lina’s hut”, featuring lovingly designed play areas. Water lovers can enjoy the family indoor pool and baby pool, while adults unwind in the wellness area with Finnish sauna, the exclusive adults-only retreat. For culinary moments at lunch and dinner, our in-house “ristorantino linara” awaits you. During the week, “lina’s world” offers caring supervision for children aged 3 to 12+, with a focus on movement and health. Parents who wish to sleep in or enjoy an evening out can book the “sleep & go” service. Teens can hang out in the lara’s area, equipped with table football, air hockey, PlayStation, and games. Twice a week, families can join our outdoor program, including a scenic hike to our own Fane Alm mountain hut. With the Almencard, the regional guest card, guests enjoy numerous benefits all year round. Whether in winter or summer, linara offers a family holiday full of adventure – skiing, cross-country, sledding, hiking, or climbing – every day becomes unforgettable.
