The Palusc track is the perfect choice for hobby cross-country skiers. The beautiful track leads gently up and down until reaching the sunny Palusc meadow. Due to unusually mild temperatures, were called for closed the Palusc variant trail and the trail from "Palusc" to "la Buja".
The ski hiking trail from Schluderbach/Carbonin to Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza is only suitable for experienced and persevering cross-country skiers, as there are about 550 meters of altitude to be overcome.

The same applies to the return route. What is especially interesting when you arrive in Dobbiaco is that you can ski as far as the Nordic Arena cross-country ski centre.
The "Circuito Prato larici" is a challenging trail with a length of approx. 3.5 km. The trail is located in the middle of our larch forests in the Val Fiscalina valley.
"La Buja" means swale in Ladin and is therefore the name of this medium-difficulty track, which leads to the swale at the far end of the cross-country centre. From there you can reach Seiser Alm through a connection track.

The trail links the Cross-Country Centre in Ritsch with Saltria. The Ritsch-Saltria link trail takes you straight downhill towards Saltria through wide Alpine meadows, and is classed as one of the most challenging cross-country trails on the Seiser Alm. In spring the trail may be partially iced over, so the utmost of caution is recommended.

The Cross country and Biathlon Center Südtirol Arena Alto Adige is situated directly on the Lake of Antholz. During the winter time you can do cross Country and Biathlon like an athlete. Every year, the Biathlon World Cup takes place in this amazing environment of the Rieserferner mountains. During the summer season you can participate at a guided tour in the building or shoot at the shot disc and run and enjoy the beautiful nature.
Setting out from Ritsch, this varied loop-route leads north over the Große Moos and through vast Alpine meadows towards the cable car for Ortisei/St. Ulrich, with the nearby Dolomite peaks of the Langkofel and the Plattkofel ever in sight. After a short uphill stretch, we head downwards through a stretch of woodland and over Alpine meadows with traditional Alpine dairy farms. In Hartl, you come to a curve in the trail and ski on, slightly uphill, along the slope through the vast Alpine meadows. There is a steep uphill stretch just before the trail meets the Möser trail, followed by easy, undulating terrain back to the set-off point in Ritsch.
From one end of the village, this 23 km track winds down into the Marebbe valley through the quiet forests and snow-covered mountain pastures of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, where the fresh air seems to glisten and the soothing tranquillity of the winter dominates the Dolomites. On many different routes (rings), cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find ideal skiing conditions as well as breath-taking surroundings and inviting mountain inns offering mouth-watering delicacies. Group lessons and individual lessons are available at the San Vigilio ski schools.
At the very heart of San Vigilio di Marebbe, close to the Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, a beautiful cross-country slope sets off along the romantic Mareo valley all the way to the Pederü mountain inn. One glimpse of the picture-book winter landscapes and you won‘t be able to stop yourself from grabbing your skis and setting off into the White fields and forests, to relax far from the daily hustle and bustle. The slope is suitable for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. For all winter sports enthusiasts who wish to learn or improve their cross-country skiing, there are two ski schools in San Vigilio which offer both group lessons and individual lessons (p. 20). And of course you don‘t have to ski the whole 23 km of the slope: The track is arranged in a number of routes (rings) which allow you to return to San Vigilio at any time. Alternatively, you can catch a Mareobus and Citybus service to Pederü or to the football grounds (Skibus stop) and start skiing at different points of the slope. Use of the cross-country skiing slope is subject to a fee but free of charge for guests staying at a San Vigilio Tourist Office member facility!
This cross-country skiing trail goes along the side of the Sextner Bach stream through idyllic scenery, climbing gently up to Sesto/Sexten. The stream gives this stretch a very special ambience; that’s why the locals call it the “Pleasure Trail” (Genussloipe). The destination is the restaurant & pizzeria "alte säge", which is definitely worth a visit. If you still have the energy on arrival, we recommend continuing on past Sesto and Moso/Moos further into the Fischleintal valley. There you'll find a wonderful skiing trail and the Talschlusshütte mountain hut, which never fails to impress with its stunning location in the Drei Zinnen Nature Park, surrounded by the magnificent Sexten Dolomites.
Sunny cross-country trail along the Drava until Winnebach/Prato alla Drava, flat trail, ideal for beginners. You can continue to Lienz (44 km) and return to San Candido by train; open only if there is enough snow!

The "Circuito Schönfelder" has several entry points and is located in Moos. Ideally accessible by public transport (Rotwand bus stop) or, if applicable, parking facilities directly on site.
