
Situated dramatically between the Latemar and Rosengarten massifs, with views of the striking rock formations of Schlern, Zanggen, Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn, lies the municipality of Deutschnofen. It includes the villages of Eggen/Ega, Obereggen and Petersberg/Monte San Pietro and the main village of Deutschnofen. Holidaymakers here can expect hikes of various degrees of difficulty as well as guided themed hikes, all of which are easily accessible by public transportation. In winter, the Obereggen ski area is a true paradise for skiing, winter hiking, tobogganing at night and cross-country skiing.
