Situated dramatically between the Latemar and Rosengarten massifs, with views of the striking rock formations of Schlern, Zanggen, Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn, lies the municipality of Deutschnofen. It includes the villages of Eggen/Ega, Obereggen and Petersberg/Monte San Pietro and the main village of Deutschnofen.
