Experience an unforgettable adventure amidst the breathtaking mountains of the Dolomites and be enchanted by the majestic beauty of the Catinaccio and its views. Tourdescription: After taking the Tiers cable car to the Frommer Alm mountain hut and the König Laurin 1+2 cable cars to the Kölner mountain hut, our hike begins. The ascent from the Hirzelsteig to the Vajolon Pass (2,560 m) is steep but relatively short. A short iron ladder helps us to overcome the rocks. We then descend to the Rotwand hut, where we take a break. We then follow the high trail past the Christomannos monument to the Paolina hut. From here we take the lifts and the bus back to our starting point in St. Cyprian. If you hadn’t realised it before, when the first rays of sun timidly appear on the surrounding peaks you will see just how much it was worth getting up so early. A sunrise mountain tour on the Schlern mountain is a very special experience. A shuttle bus will take you to the Saltner Tschapit hut, where the ascent begins. Equipped with headlamps, you will arrive at Monte Petz (2,564 m) at around 6:50, in perfect time for the sunrise. After this natural spectacle, a well-earned breakfast awaits you at the Schlernhaus mountain refuge, also known as the “castle in the mountains”. Tourdescription: After taking the cable car up to the Alpe di Siusi, we start our hike. First we hike towards Panorama and along the slopes of the Goldknopf to the foot of the Rosszahn ridge. The trail climbs steeply in serpentines to the Rosszahnscharte. From there it is only a few minutes to the Tierser Alpl refuge, where we take our lunch break. The way back is via the “Bärenloch”. The path is steep at the beginning, secured in places with wire ropes. Further down, the trail then leads through the Tschamin valley to Weißlahnbad. Meeting point: On bus line 176 with departure time 08:35 in St. Zyprian Walking time: 5-6 hours Ascent: 650 meters Descent: 1300 meters Difficulty: medium With refreshment stop.

The trip starts from Kastelruth towards Bolzano, continuing on the motorway in the direction of Trento, passing the picturesque Lake Toblino and through the impressive Arco Valley to Limone sul Garda. In Limone, you will get off the bus and have free time to spend the day as you wish. At 4:00 p.m., you will be picked up again at the Info Point in Malcesine. The transfer from Limone to Malcesine is by boat (not included in the trip price). The one-way fare is €9.00 per person. The return trip goes via Torbole and Riva del Garda, then back to the motorway via Rovereto in the direction of Kastelruth. Arrival in Kastelrutn at approx. 18:00 hrs. The Tiers volunteer fire department invites everyone to the 2nd “Tierscher Grisufestl” at the civil defense center in Tiers. Food and drink are well provided for! A highlight of the evening is the charcoal-grilled chicken, which is a real treat for the taste buds. Younger visitors can enjoy themselves on the bouncy castle.

With its unusual shape, the Plattkofel peak is one of the most distinctive and best-known panoramic summits in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. At 2,955 m, the peak also boasts an absolutely spectacular 360° view of the Dolomites at sunrise. A minibus will take you to the Zallinger mountain refuge, from where the fairly steep ascent leads to the Plattkofel mountain refuge. From here, the trail initially leads along a grassy ridge and later a very steep ascent over rocky terrain up to the Plattkofel peak, where you can experience a magnificent sunrise. After the descent along the same trail, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Plattkofel mountain refuge before heading back to the set-off point. DURATION OF THE HIKE (WITHOUT REST) 2:15 h from Zallinger to Plattkofel peak (3,7 km; 900 m uphill) 1 h from the peak to Plattkofel mountain refuge (2,3 km; 650 m downhill) 30 min. from Plattkofel mountain refuge to chair lift Florian (1,4 km; 250 m downhill). There we take the chairlift to Saltria, where the minibus awaits you.

Together with Martha, you will start a leisurely walk towards St. Michael. After about 30 minutes, we reach our first stop: the Zerund farm. There, you’ll gain a fascinating insight into life on a farm – including a visit to the barn. The hike then continues via Scherplatz to the Krahof farm. There, a delicious South Tyrolean snack awaits you, lovingly prepared with products from the farm. The farm gates also open for us at Krahof: get to know the free-range hens that lay the popular South Tyrolean free-range eggs. Easy hike -Total walking time: 2 hours – ideal for food lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts. The event takes place in German and Italian.
