Join us on a gentle hike through the wild and romantic Tschamin Valley – one of the most untouched gems of the Dolomites. Together with our hiking guide Julian, you'll explore not only breathtaking scenery but also hear fascinating stories about local life, including the traditions of the mountain people, the legend of the “Saures Wasserle,” and more. We'll take a relaxing lunch break at the scenic “right Leger” before heading back to the Tschamin Schwaige, where a well-deserved refreshment awaits. To round off the day, we’ll visit the Nature Park Information Center at the historic Steger Sawmill. Although the old Venetian saw is currently out of service due to storm damage, the exhibition is open and well worth a visit. Experience the magic of art from the Schlern region! Visit the group exhibition of the artists of the "Kunst unterm Schlern" association and discover the creative diversity of our talented local artists.

Living heritage of the Dolomites The travelling exhibition with 20 impressive panels was designed for the 50th anniversary of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. The open-air exhibition shows pictures of the impressive landscape of the nature park and the diversity of flora and fauna. The exhibition also tells of the beginnings of the mountain refuges and of the people who live and work in the nature park.

The exhibition NATURAL ELEMENTS, taking place from May 31 to October 19, 2025, in Seis am Schlern, presents a selection of works by Ahrntal artist Alois Steger.

Working with multimedia, the artist, together with curator Eva von Ingram Harpf, has selected seven artworks for the village center of this Dolomite village, which integrate symbiotically into the historical setting.

Created from natural elements and materials, the works are designed to gradually change over the course of the exhibition due to weathering.

"Craft market APPAT" Arts and crafts The traditional craft market in Kastelruth takes place in the summer months of July and August. It takes place every Wednesday in the village square and offers a variety of traditional handicrafts and, but also artisan products such as woodwork, glasswork, leather goods and much more. Experience the fascinating beauty of the Dolomites on a round trip with a small bus! Departure is from Völs am Schlern at 8:00 am, from Seis am Schlern at 8:10 am and from Kastelruth at 8:20 am. The route takes you from Völs to Kastelruth through the enchanting Val Gardena, over the Sella Pass and the impressive Pordoi Pass, up to the Falzarego Pass and on to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Lake Misurina awaits you there, where we take a break of about an hour. Here you have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant or enjoy some food you have brought with you while enjoying the view of the famous "Drei Zinnen". After a relaxing break, the journey continues into the Höhlenstein Valley and the historic town of Bruneck (no Stop). Arrival in Kastelruth is planned for around 17:00-17:30. In the village center of Völs there is a weekly market every Wednesday from 08.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon.

The small but fine School Museum at Tagusens shows visitors and interested people the life of the pupils between the years 1933 and 1993 and is a unique collection of furnishings and teaching documents that have been preserved on site. The school life in Tagusens did not mean an encounter with the "foreign" world for the "ABC-Shooters". The children in the lonely place knew each other, only the teacher changed year after year. Furnishings and teaching objects were less worn than elsewhere and thus remained intact. Nostalgic feelings and memories are certainly not absent here and seduce to a bygone era. The school museum is open every Wednesday and Friday from 14:00-18:00 and every Sunday from 10:00-18:00. You do not need to register for a visit.

The guided via ferrata tour on the small Cir peak is a unique experience for beginners aged 10 and up. On the tour you climb over some of the most impressive rock formations in the region and overcome some short but challenging passages. Helmut Kostner explains how to climb and shows you how to get safely over the rock faces. You will also receive valuable tips on equipment and safety. Throughout the day, the mountain guide will ensure that you are safe and protected on the way.

This tour takes you into the breathtaking landscapes of the Dolomites, where towering passes, idyllic huts, and pristine valleys await. Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of this unique mountain world and create unforgettable memories amidst the majestic Rosengarten massif. Tour Description: Our journey begins with a ride on the Cabrio cable car in Tiers, taking us to the Frommer Alm. From there, we board the panoramic König Laurin 1 and 2 cable cars, which transport us directly to the Kölner Hütte at 2,337 meters. This is where our hike begins. From the Kölner Hütte, we follow trail no. 550 up to the Tschagerjoch (2,630 m), the highest point of the tour, where we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding Dolomites. From the pass, we descend along a well-maintained path to the Vajolethütte (2,243 m). The route then continues on trail no. 541 up to the Grasleiten Pass (2,601 m), another stunning viewpoint in the heart of the Rosengarten massif. From the pass, we descend to the cozy Grasleitenhütte (2,134 m), where we can enjoy a warm meal. The journey then takes us further downhill into the picturesque Tschamintal, a wild and romantic valley framed by towering rock walls. The descent along trail no. 3 leads us through shady forests and past babbling brooks until we finally reach our destination, Weißlahnbad.
