The bike in all its facets

From 17 to 20 September 2026, everything in Brixen/Bressanone will revolve around the world of cycling - with routes, encounters and typical regional delights.

When the streets of Brixen fill up with bikes, the Bike Festa Südtirol will begin. Amidst historic façades, small squares and cafés, it becomes clear just how naturally the bicycle can be part of a modern lifestyle.

The four themed areas of the bike festa are all interconnected. In the Innovation Gallery, new developments and ideas offer exciting insights into the mobility of tomorrow. Here you can chat with developers, designers and industry pioneers and find out what they’re working on today to shape the future.

Much of this goes beyond mere theory. In the Expo Area, you can try out new models and technologies right there on the spot. At the same time, the tours lead through the historic centre of Brixen, along the vineyards and up to the Plose. Along the way, regional specialities, shared breaks and personal encounters are just as much a part of the experience as the cycling itself.

You’ll experience an event where innovation, exercise and enjoyment come together in a natural way.

More tips for your holiday in South Tyrol

If you are not on the trails riding your mountain bike, it's worth a trip to Brixen/Bressanone or Klausen/Chiusa. Will you be heading this way in autumn? Historic inns will welcome you for Törggelen to enjoy rustic dishes, local wines and genuine ambiance.
