Where tradition tastes like home: Harvest Thanksgiving in Algund
From October 23rd to 26th, the Algund church square transforms into a showcase of the South Tyrolean way of life. As the days grow shorter and the leaves turn gold, we invite you to celebrate the abundance of our autumn harvest together.
This year, a very special treasure of our forests takes center stage: the chestnut.
A feast for the senses: let the unmistakable scent of freshly roasted chestnuts lead the way. Our farmers roast them daily over an open fire, serving the "Keschtn" exactly as they should be – hot, local, and prepared with love.
Authentic craftsmanship & South Tyrolean variety: discover the diversity of South Tyrol at the market stalls, from homemade specialties to farm-fresh produce. Two local farmers will treat you to hearty dishes, serving estate-grown wines and juices – the perfect pairing for these autumnal delicacies.
An atmospheric program of live music harmoniously rounds off the event.
