Orizzonti Creativi - Towards a Progress of Wellbeing?

As part of the Fuori Festival programme of Orizzonti Creativi, Lucio Lucchin and Valentino Beccari discuss the relationship between creativity, progress and wellbeing in contemporary society, in collaboration with TreviLab.

Creativity is one of the main drivers of culture, social life and psycho-physical health. Yet the growing demand for experiential moments tends to be more participatory than generative, while an excess of information undermines the capacity for calm, considered thinking. The event invites a look back at the trajectory of our cultural evolution to ask: what do we really mean by progress? And does it always translate into greater security and wellbeing?

The aim is to identify the factors most likely to enable course corrections, with particular attention to the areas of health and wellbeing.
