The cozy CLASSIC Suites in our Palla Bianca annex offer between 35 and 50 m² of living space, and sleep two persons. Warm and earthy natural hues, wooden furniture and soft woolen textiles create a comfortable atmosphere. All of these suites feature separate living and sleeping areas, a cozy sitting room with wooden stove, a marble bathroom and either a balcony or sun terrace with garden access; some have kitchenettes.

Hotel description

The tiny little village, surrounded by the old walls of the Karthaus monastery, is ideal to spend a few relaxing days in the mountains. In summer time you have all the beautiful walking tracks "right in front of your door" and in winter a free skibus is connecting Karthaus with the skiing area in Kurzras.
We offer 8 new and tastefully furnished apartments for 2-6 people, surrounded by a large garden area. The kitchen is fully equipped, towels and sheets are provided. At the Restaurant of the Hotel Goldene Rose we serve delicious specialities from the South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. You can also book halfboard with the apartment.

About the region

Vinschgau/Val Venosta is a land of contrasts. The bell tower jutting out of the Reschensee lake is only the tip of the iceberg. Visitors can choose to sail, cycle or walk along paths that cut through orchards and cultivated fields, always accompanied by the famous Vinschgau winds. The people of this valley have embraced the slow pace of agriculture with their eyes raised to the Ortler mountain, the highest peak in South Tyrol. The purest marble is quarried in Laas/Lasa, while in Glurns/Glorenza, you can walks between medieval walls. Even the historical irrigation ditches tell stories of the land and local ingenuity. Vinschgau does not have to put on a show to leave a lasting impression.
