This charming winter hike starts at the parish church in the center of Ortisei and leads to the picturesque St. Jacob's Church – the oldest church in Val Gardena. The route passes through forest paths and historic farms with panoramic views over the valley.
Start with snowshoes at Eistil Boden (car park below Russis bridge), towards Schatzerhütte. From there continue along path no. 9 and over the Piskoierböden to the hut Halslhütte. Return via path no. 10 to the starting point.

The winter hiking trail in Ladurns offers a romantic tour through the stunning mountain landscape of the Pflerschtal Valley in South Tyrol, within the Stubai Alps. Along the way, there are breathtaking views of the mighty Tribulaun on the opposite side of the valley. The starting point is the middle station of the Ladurns cable car. From there, the path gently ascends to the mountain station of the gondola. At the mountain station, there are two places to stop for refreshment (Ladurnerhütte and Pfeiferhuisilehütte).
From Passo delle Erbe, this hike runs along the forest road at the foot of Sasso Putia and back to the starting point. There are plenty of signs for orientation. Pedestrians: please keep off the cross-country skiing slope!

The path gently descends, offering impressive views of the snow-clad mountain ranges of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar along the way. After a leisurely walk, you arrive at the picturesque Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), which in winter is framed by a thick blanket of snow and exudes a special calm. This winter hike follows a leisurely route from Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza) through snow-covered forests to the Frin meadows and continues to the Frommer Alm hut. Along the way, the path offers beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites, particularly the imposing Rosengarten | Catinaccio. The destination of the hike is the Frommer Alm hut, which is perfect for a well-deserved break. Here, you can enjoy regional specialties in a cozy atmosphere and fully savor the winter ambiance.
On the hike you get to Prösels Castle, built around 1200 by the Counts von Völs. In the early 16th century it was extended and converted by the Governor of Tyrol, Leonhard von Völs, to a Renaissance castle. Setting off from Passo delle Erbe, take the forest road which runs just above the Ütia de Börz mountain inn in either direction.
