On the hike you get to Prösels Castle, built around 1200 by the Counts von Völs. In the early 16th century it was extended and converted by the Governor of Tyrol, Leonhard von Völs, to a Renaissance castle. Light forests and mountain meadows alternate along the entire route, with easy climbs and flat sections. In winter, the track is regularly maintained with a snow groomer.

The winter family hike from Laab hut to Neuhütt hut in Deutschnofen starts at 1,649 meters altitude at Laab hut. From there, a well-prepared forest path [1] leads through a quiet, snowy forest to Neuhütt hut at 1,780 meters. The route is about 5.7 kilometers long and can be completed in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. The path is easy and has only slight inclines, making it suitable for children and less experienced hikers. Both alpine huts are managed and invite you to take a break with delicious South Tyrolean specialties. Along the way, hikers can enjoy the winter tranquility and breathtaking views of the Dolomites.

The Beimstein Knott is one of three tuff knolls. These three tuff knolls are of volcanic origin and are unparalleled in South Tyrol. Additionally is impressive for its stunning view overlooking the village of Vöran.

On the red rock is placed a new installation, called “Attimo” installation. It is comprised of five chairlift seats placed in a row, representing an imaginary chairlift.

This winter hike starts at the Paolina parking lot and follows a well-maintained path through an enchanting snow-covered landscape. This relaxing winter hike starts at the parking place of Spëscia. During this hike you can enjoy the fresh air of the forest up to the Hospice Santa Croce, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Dolomites.

The destination of the hike, the white Rit meadows, within the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are an expression of intact nature, peace and tranquillity, where you can enjoy the silence of nature.

After a two-hour walk, you will reach the Crusc da Rit cross, where a breathtaking panorama will open up before you, stretching from the Sas dla Crusc massif to the Pütia mountain. From this point you will be able to distinguish the three churches of La Val.

This historic winter hike starts in Niederolang at the large playground in the Aue. You can easily reach Niederolang with Skibus 22 or Citybus 435.2. The trail leads you through a picturesque forest, with large rocks from all over South Tyrol providing fascinating information about geology along the way. After about 1 km, you'll arrive at the "Spitziges Stöckl," marking the end of the walk. There is a bus stop at the Spitziges Stöckl, where the Skibus will take you back to the village center.

The winter hike "Salla" starts in Oberolang at Bödenstraße. You can take the Citybus 435.1 to Oberolang and get off at the Dorfstraße stop. After a short 150-meter walk, you’ll reach Bödenstraße. The hike is about 4 km long, passing by the Kinderwelt and winding through snowy meadows, fields, and forests of Oberolang, heading towards Welsberg. After around 1.5 hours, you’ll reach the end of the trail, and the return follows the same route.

From here, you follow the so-called Templweg. The Templweg is loved by hikers looking for a peaceful walk in contact with nature. The well-prepared path leads through quiet winter landscapes, dense forests, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks. Following the path further, you eventually reach Obereggen, a well-known winter sports resort, perfect for a well-deserved break or to continue the tour. The hike follows pleasantly walkable trails and is suitable for all experience levels.

The Vallunga is the entrance to the Naturepark Puez - Odle. It lasts a few km and it's in the middle of woods and mountains. The valley has a flair of quiteness and calmness, which you can enjoy during a walk in the valley. The via Crucis leads you directly to the direction of Juac and is represented with woodsculptures.

Easy hike to one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the Pustertal valley, whose little church " Unserer Lieben Frau von Loreto" was built around the middle of the 17th century.

The hike leads from the Karerpass | Passo Costalunga first into the Latemar forest, where the hazel tree grows, which is used especially for the production of string instruments. For this reason, the wood has also been called ‘tonewood’. From the Latemar forest you reach the Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), which is considered one of the most magnificent alpine lakes in the Dolomites and is surrounded by a special mountain backdrop.

This winter hike starts in Saltria and leads past the Floralpina and Tirler hotels to the refuge Berghaus Zallinger and the church of the same name, in the immediate vicinity of the Plattkofel valley basin.

Wonderful winter hike on the highest point at Speikboden with 360° winter panorama. With the cable car and the chairlift it goes up to 2,400m. From there you can already see the summit cross of the Sonnklar Nock. Passing the Sonnklarhütte, you reach your destination after a leisurely winter hike of just under half an hour.

It is a forest path of cosiness, no altitude difference and no special impulses. You will always have the village of Sesto on your left and pass the famous Sexten cemetery. From the reservoir through the forest to San Candido.
Tips and advices: very little difference of altitude and no special efforts, a comfortable forest way. Pass the cemetery  and also the Stifts Church in San Candido.
Summary: a very nice and calm excursion with the possibility to mix culture and shopping at San Candido.
