This pleasant 2-hour hike starts in Oberolang at the cemetery. You can easily reach the center of Oberolang with the Citybus 435.1, and after a short walk of about 300 meters, you'll arrive at the starting point. The hike takes you through a picturesque forest along the Olanger Reservoir, until you reach our neighboring village Welsberg. The outward path is 5.6 km long, and for the return, you can either take the regional train (No. 400) or walk back again.

he Waldkapelle Chapel, an emergency chapel built during the First World War for returning farmers, was used during the Second World War to hold German masses, which were banned by the fascists. The meditation path with 14 stations leads from the Parish Church in Sexten to the Waldkapelle Chapel. Along the way, the stations invite you to pause. To avoid walking back along the same trail, continue along the path and then turn right up towards Gasthof Waldruhe . From there you walk comfortably 
along the asphalt road down to the Hösler Höfe farms and the last stretch along the forest path to the starting point.

It is a very fine and enjoyable hike for everyone - easy, practical and very beautiful, but the best thing is the view!!!

The tour leads to St. Michael with its church of the same name, which dates back to the 13th century and thus to the Romanesque period.

The snow-blanketed Calvary Hill in Kastelruth, known locally as the ‘Kofel’, is the destination of this short but sweet winter walk, which boasts wonderful views over Kastelruth and the surrounding area. The Kofel is much loved by locals and guests alike as a place of relaxation and recreation.

How is tasty mountain cheese made?
The ‘Drei Zinnen’ display dairy at Dobbiaco/Toblach and the ‘Milk Mile’ at Sesto/Sexten provide answers to questions like this. The local Alpine dairy farming world is explained along an interactive woodland trail. Interested visitors can try their hand at milking using a wooden cow and read how the various cheese types are made.

The Panoramweg starts at the bus stop near the App.Hotel Winklwiese, which you can easily reach with Skibus No. 21 or Citybus No. 435.1. This walk takes you through the snowy meadows and fields of Oberolang and Mitterolang, offering a stunning view of Mitterolang. The path continues past the "Spitziges Stöckl," and after about 1 hour and 2.7 km, you’ll arrive in Niederolang, the end of the trail. From Niederolang, you can easily take the Skibus or Citybus back to Mitterolang, Oberolang, or Geiselsberg.

This hike offers a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding mountains. Highlights of this circular hike are the legendary witches' benches, the Filln cross and the observation platform Engelsrast.

This pleasant walk leads from Compatsch towards Saltria, passing the Ritsch hut and the Monte Piz and over vast mountain meadows to the Sanon hut on a relaxing traverse of the Seiser Alm. The Alpine pastures and mountain huts along the route provide a welcome destination for a relaxing break.

This winter hike expedition to the Schillerhof arm leads you over gently undulating countryside above the Tierser Valley. It boasts breathtaking views over the Rosengarten mountain, and is not particularly challenging on a technical level.

A varied hike from the Stiergarten via the Klammbachalm to the Kreuzberg Pass, featuring well-maintained trails and stunning views.

Starting point is the roundabout in Völs, from where you follow up to Fiè di Sopra/Umes. Turn left at the Hotel Heubad and continue along trail no. 1. The sunny path leads past some farms until you reach the Völser Weiher lake after 45 minutes.
The thirty-minute descent along trail no. 13 to St. Konstantin/ S. Costantino, passing historic summer retreat residences along the way, is recommendable. After a short break at the picturesque church, follow the trail through the meadows and woods back to Völs. This loop-route can also be hiked in the opposite direction.

A true culinary delight awaits you on this winter hike, as you pass by three mountain huts: Niederegger Hütte, Oberegger Hütte, and Lorenzi Hütte, where you can savor traditional South Tyrolean specialties. The hike starts in Geiselsberg at the church, which you can easily reach with Citybus 435.2. The trail winds through the snowy forest in gentle switchbacks, passing by the three huts. The endpoint of the hike is the Lorenzi Hütte, offering a fantastic view of Olang. The return follows the same path, and just after the Niederegger Hütte, there is a Citybus stop that will take you back to Mitterolang.

This leisurely winter walking tour leading from Seis to Kastelruth boasts beautiful views over the villages at the foot of the Schlern, the picturesque St. Valentin chapel and the imposing Schlern massif with the Santner peak.

This hike is an easy and family-friendly route which can partially even be done with a buggy. The Weiher Bruggen pond is one of the attractions: it is a resting place for young and old. Parents can enjoy the view toward the Ifinger mountain whilst children can admire the many fish in the pond.
