Egon and Stefan will perform traditional live music, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This event is also part of the Herbst³Zeit supporting program. Admission is free. The feast of the town in Ferrara of Braies Valley is organized on the pre-last weekend of October. On Saturday is positioned the "Kirtamichlbam" (the traditional tree) by the no-married young boys. In the evening is organized the "Kirtaball" (dance party) with a DJ and traditional music. On Sunday the day begins with a good Bayern breakfast with "Weißwurst" and beer. Typical dishes are served for lunch. In the afternoon the "Kirtamichl" is taken off and around it you can listen live music: in the end you can win the traditional "Kirtamichlbam".

Traditional parade from San Nicolo with the 'Krampus' in the center of Dobbiaco. They pass the S. Giovanni Street and go to the center of Dobbiaco. In the center all children receive a present from San Nicolo. For all viewers and children there is also a free 'Krampus' zone to see the spectacle.

The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 2th December to 1st January 2026, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco.

Visitors to the Dolomiti Balloonweek can enjoy a hot air balloon flight lasting around half a day (including assembling the balloon, hot air balloon flight, dismantling the balloon, “baptism”). The actual flight takes around an hour depending on wind and weather. A hot air balloon basket has room for two to five persons, including the pilot. The hardest race in South Tyrol! 10.01.2026 - 3 Zinnen Mini Ski Marathon The Mini 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon for all children and young people is all about having fun. The youngest participants open the event at 4.00 pm in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. The "Balloon Glow" with small hot air balloons will create a unique atmosphere before the prize giving ceremony. 11.01.2026 - Classic Race (62km + 30 km) 62km classic track: The starting signal is given in Val Fiscalina/Sesto. The track continues towards San Candido and Dobbiaco, it passes through the cross-country stadium Nordic Arena further into the "Landro Valley" until the View of the three Peaks and Val Fonda where the track turns and the course leads back to the Nordic Arena. From there, it continues to Villabassa. 30km classic track: The start is at the Nordic Arena Dobbiaco. From there, the course goes through the "Landro Valley" to Lago di Landro, back to Dobbiaco and then to Villabassa. Ideal for all lovers of short and less difficult races! Start Skiclassics Men: Sesto/Sexten 9.00 Start Skiclassics Women: Sesto/Sexten 9.05 Start 62 km Amateur Skiers: Val Fiscalina/Fischleintal Sesto/Sexten 9.15 Start 30 km Amateur Skiers: Nordic Arena Dobbiaco/Toblach 11.00 Finish: Niederdorf/Villabassa 12.01.2026 - Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge (30 km Free Technique) The race will start in Villabassa, the track passes over Dobbiaco through the cross-country stadium Nordic Arena further into the "Landro Valley" to the View of the three Peaks and the Lago di Landro. In Carbonin starts the mythical climb to Prato Piazza (Dolomiti Superbike route) with a 7 km ascent and an average gradient of 10%. The finish line is on Prato Piazza where the athlets can admire the magnificent scenery of the Dolomites. Start: Villabassa/Niederdorf at 9.30 Finish: Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese Enjoy a great race weekend in the region 3 Zinnen Dolomites - Italy’s number one cross country skiing destination with breath-taking slopes.

The magic of the Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina, which will take place for the 49th time on the weekend of 17th and 18th January 2026, is unbroken. The Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina is one of the most traditional and popular cross-country skiing races, with its enchanting routes capable of immersing lovers of narrow skis in the marvellous setting of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites of Alta Pusteria and the Ampezzo peaks. The dates for the 2026 edition have been confirmed for the aforementioned weekend, with the event returning to the popular format. For both routes, the start will be at the military airfield in Dobbiaco, from where you will head towards the finish line in Fiames - Cortina d'Ampezzo at the foot of the Pomagagnonich mountain.

WINTER NIGHT RUN ON SNOW: Are you looking for a unique adventure? Do you love snow and the beautiful Dolomites? The Winter Night Run is just for you! A night run on the snow in one of the most beautiful settings in the Dolomites. Perfect for those who love facing difficult challenges in a unique setting COMPETITIVE RACE 12 km Starting from the Nordic Arena, heading towards Lake Toblach to the War Cemetery in the Landro Valley and return from the opposite side, passing Lake Toblach and finishing at the Nordic Arena, over a distance of 12 km. NON COMPETITIVE RACE 7 km Start at the Nordic Arena, cross-country stadium, towards Lake Toblach and back.
