La Villa is home to one of the headquarters of the “Croce Bianca”, a voluntary organization that provides first aid. Lukas became a volunteer at the age of thirteen and has never stopped helping those in need in the valley. During this visit you will learn what volunteering in the mountains is all about and you will soon realize that these helpful people have a big heart.

The closed-off street of Corvara turns into a true open-air market. Visitors can meet beekeepers, cheesemakers, farmers, and herbalists in person, who present and sell their products: organic honey, artisanal cheeses, alpine herbs, local flours, and preserves. The food stands, run by local restaurateurs and associations, offer dishes prepared with the same ingredients, providing a genuine farm-to-table experience. On August 7, 2025, be enchanted by the third edition of the Movimënt Sunrise Concert – an unforgettable event that combines music, nature, and the captivating light of dawn. As the sky begins to glow blue with the first light of day, the Piz La Ila cable car starts its silent ascent to 2,100 meters, taking you to the summit just as the sun peeks through the Dolomite peaks.
Waiting for you at the top are the enchanting sounds of renowned violinist Andrea Casta, a friend of Alta Badia, famous for his luminous bow and moving performances that blend classical and contemporary music.
On this special occasion, he will be joined by the local group Aurela Cörta who will make the sunrise even more magical.
The concert takes place in the silence of dawn, among golden skies and the unmistakable outline of the mountains.
And after the show?
A breakfast at the Moritzino hut awaits you – with authentic flavors and a breathtaking view that will start your day in the most special way.
An unmissable event where nature becomes the stage, sunrise the main character, and music ignites the soul.

The long-awaited summer event begins with the parade of the Colfosco-Corvara Music Band, which marches through the pedestrian area of Corvara, attracting your attention with its music and beautiful traditional costumes.
This is followed by the concert of the band with folk and modern melodies in front of the majestic Sassongher, Corvara's iconic mountain, illuminated for the occasion by the Mountain Rescue Aiüt Alpin Alta Badia and the lighthouse of the Corvara fire station.
Who knows if you won't see a shooting star next to the illuminated Sassongher…
