Adventure, adrenalin and breath-taking views: all this lies store for you in the exciting 4 Peaks Alta Badia challenge. The aim of this challenge is to conquer the four summits Sas dla Crusc - Santa Croce 2,907 m, Piza dales Diesc - Cima Dieci 3,02 6m, Lavarela 3,055 m and Conturines 3,064 m, on the edge of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The ascent of these four mountains is to be attempted only by experienced climbers, as these peaks cannot be reached just on easy, well-sign-posted paths, but also via routes with some very exposed sections. As proof of your achievement you will have a pass which must be stamped every time you reach one of the four summits. All those who manage to complete the challenge in two or more days will have the title “Alta Badia Finisher” conferred upon them. If you manage to complete the ascent of all four summits in one day you will be crowned with the coveted and highly deserved title of “Alta Badia Mountaineer”. In both cases you will take up your place of honour in the “Wall of Fame” which can be viewed online.

Concert of the Badiamusica Festival with the Trio Andrea Palladio formed by Michele Antonello (oboe), Steno Boesso (bassoon) and Enrico Zanovello (organ). A narrow path across an impressive, wide scree desert. To this day, the farmers of La Val drive their cattle over this steep pass to the summer pastures of Fanes. On the other side of the pass, the landscape is different: limestone pavements predominate, interspersed with small and large patches of green - feeding grounds for cows and marmots. ‘Viles’ are typical rural homes that have housed generations of Ladin people, and this walk is dedicated to them. It is an evocative immersion into the culture and tradition of our valley. On the way to La Crusc, holy place of reflection The sanctuary of La Crusc/Santa Croce, not only gives its name to one of the most imposing and spectacular Dolomite massifs in Alta Badia, but has also always been in the hearts of the valley's inhabitants. The church's whiteness, its long history handed down over the centuries and its enchanting position make it a favourite destination for pilgrims from all over the world. From the centre of San Cassiano, head towards Rüdeferia and then through the woods to the church of Santa Croce.
