As of today, the Christmas market and the ice rink are officially open! The Christmas market is open on weekends from Friday to Sunday as well as on public holidays, while the ice rink is available for you every day. At the opening ceremony, there will be a short speech. Afterwards, the Tourist Association invites you to enjoy a small refreshment with mulled wine, Christmas cookies, and panettone. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Santoni Family from South Tyrol, followed by DJ Fillini.

Rural and artisan stalls from the Passeiertal Valley with unique, home-made products invite you to browse. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere with Christmas scents, music and stories. The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

On November 29 and 30 and from December 6 to 8, 2025, Schenna Castle transforms into a charming meeting place for lovers of good food and festive atmosphere: Advent at Schenna Castle combines culinary delights, traditional craftsmanship, and the magic of the pre-Christmas season in a unique way. Under the motto “Dishes with a Story”, a food stall serves traditional meals from days gone by – authentically prepared and with a deep love for South Tyrolean cuisine. High-quality exhibitors present regional products all centered around fine food – from handmade specialties to delightful gift ideas for gourmets. Ancient crafts come to life on site: watch, discover, and marvel at how things used to be made. A lovingly designed children’s program awaits our youngest guests, making Advent at Schenna Castle a special experience for the whole family. Let yourself be enchanted by a magical Advent season full of flavor, nostalgia, and festive charm – at Advent at Schenna Castle.

During Advent, the Christmas Market takes place at Piazza San Giacomo square on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on 8 December, featuring stalls with local handicrafts and culinary delicacies.

The Christmas Village opens its doors on all four Advent weekends, from 28/11 to 23/12/2025 from Friday to Sunday. Candle after candle form a luminous path through the winding alleys. The flair of bygone eras emanates from every corner and the romantic old town becomes a very special backdrop for a very special Christmas market thanks to its natural and authentic decorations.
At the Christmas village in Klausen, the stalls are hidden behind fir branches and in old cellars, where you can buy local products. And there will also be plenty of culinary offerings as well as an extensive program.

Locally produced products simply taste better!
Fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, spices, cheese, honey, wine, juice….and many more quality products cultivated and produced in Kaltern are being sold from 8 am to noon on the Square of the town. Come by and experience the taste of nature.
All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves.
In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

18 stalls and two food stands are eagerly waiting to sweeten your Advent season with regional crafts, hot drinks, and traditional dishes. The diverse offerings will be rounded off with musical performances, a show kitchen on Saturday evening, the large gingerbread house from the Tauber bakery, a children's program, and of course, the ever-popular ice skating rink.

Authentic and Traditional – The Ritten Christmas Market. The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben. On Saturdays and Sundays: Horse-drawn carriage rides from Klobenstein station to the village centre, introductory pony riding, and llama and pony walks in Oberbozen. Local and seasonal, straight from the producer. Farmers from the surrounding area bring their own farm produce to the Brixen old town centre. Depending on the season, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, flowers, honey, homemade jams and pasta sauces, refined distillates and organically grown herbs as well as wooden handicrafts are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From April to October, local associations prepare fresh tirtln (fried stuffed pastry) on site on a weekly basis. This means that every Saturday is also a culinary experience. This market has been a popular, lively meeting place for locals and guests for 30 years.

Every Saturday at the small farmers' market in the centre of Steinegg|Collepietra, there are freshly harvested vegetables, seasonal fruit, dairy products and cheese from the Ebenhof farm cheese dairy. All goods come directly from the producers, i.e. the farmers.

Brennet Liab enchants with festive brass melodies, bringing the pure Christmas spirit directly to the christmas market Algund – an experience for music lovers and families alike. The group is made up of selected musicians from the Burggrafenamt area around Merano and is complemented by a Styrian accordion. The four brass players explore a wide range of musical genres, including folk music, jazz, and classical pieces. They perform with joy and passion, a enthusiasm that hopefully spreads to the audience and makes the festive spirit of Advent come alive.

On the first Sunday in Advent, the House of Culture in Steinegg is transformed into an atmospheric Christmas market, organised by the charity women of Steinegg. The traditional market offers a warm atmosphere, lovingly designed stands and a diverse range of handmade products, delicious treats and festive decorations. The special thing about this Christmas market is that all the net proceeds go to charity. The 20 or so active members of the association and numerous supporters from Steinegg and the surrounding area work hard to make this day a very special event. Immerse yourself in the pre-Christmas atmosphere and do good at the same time.

This year, the Catholic Family Association of South Tyrol, Hafling branch, cordially invites you to the small Hafling Advent Market.

Visitors can expect a lovely selection of Advent wreaths, Christmas cards, decorations, biscuits and many other handmade items – all in aid of a good cause.

There will be a special highlight on Thursday: visitors will have the opportunity to design their own Advent wreaths and take them home with them if they wish.

Refreshments will of course be provided, ensuring a cosy pre-Christmas get-together.
