18 stalls and two food stands are eagerly waiting to sweeten your Advent season with regional crafts, hot drinks, and traditional dishes. The diverse offerings will be rounded off with musical performances, a show kitchen on Saturday evening, the large gingerbread house from the Tauber bakery, a children's program, and of course, the ever-popular ice skating rink.

Golden Christmas in Schluderns

Once again this year there will be a pre-Christmas day Schluderns! With Christmas market, christmas music and petting zoo for the little ones!

The Teis Volunteer Fire Brigade is once again selling Christmas trees this year (spruce, pine and Nordmann fir - while stocks last). This year in a new form: on Saturday, 14 December from 2.00 pm as part of a small but fine Christmas market with a mulled wine stall in the Perner Wiesl.

On December 13th and 14th, Schlanders transforms into a sparkling Christmas village full of lights, joy, and pre-Christmas atmosphere. The annual Christmas market will also take place.

Hobby artists and craftsmen from Vinschgau, as well as local and Italian producers, will offer handmade gift ideas, traditional crafts, and local products.

A special highlight: "Spielvolk"!
The magically glowing figures on stilts bring Christmas magic directly to the streets of Schlanders with their imaginative performance, enchanting both young and old – an experience you shouldn’t miss!

In addition, many exciting activities await you:
a craft workshop at the base location, fairy tale storytelling at Damml, and a Christmas picture treasure hunt (starting December 9th), where you can collect your reward on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the village square.

Shops in Schlanders will also be open on Saturday and Sunday, both in the morning and afternoon – perfect for festive Christmas shopping accompanied by Christmas lights and sounds.

During Advent, the Christmas Market takes place at Piazza San Giacomo square on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on 8 December, featuring stalls with local handicrafts and culinary delicacies.

The Christmas Village opens its doors on all four Advent weekends, from 28/11 to 23/12/2025 from Friday to Sunday. Candle after candle form a luminous path through the winding alleys. The flair of bygone eras emanates from every corner and the romantic old town becomes a very special backdrop for a very special Christmas market thanks to its natural and authentic decorations.
At the Christmas village in Klausen, the stalls are hidden behind fir branches and in old cellars, where you can buy local products. And there will also be plenty of culinary offerings as well as an extensive program.

All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves.
In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

The people of Mühlen ring in Advent with the Kothreinemorscht and turn Mühlen into a Kothrein village. With a cozy wooden fence in the village center, where you can get snacks from the grill, from the pan, from the stove. There are also hot and cold drinks. Open fire, cozy company. Every now and then an interlude, for example with the “Klöcklnachtsinger”, with a brick organ player, with steaming “Melchamuis”. The living nativity scene is also a must. The Ritten Christmas Market enchants visitors with beautifully decorated stalls, high-quality handicrafts, atmospheric music, and local specialties. A varied programme of events and children’s activities makes a visit to the Ritten Christmas Train Market (Rittner Christbahnl) an unforgettable experience, turning the Advent and Christmas season into something truly special. The Ritten Christmas Train Market at the Oberbozen railway station, in the historic Plattner Beekeeping Museum in Wolfsgruben, and in the village centre of Klobenstein is open during Advent and Christmas time on Fridays from 2 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Ritten Railway connects the three locations every 30 minutes. On all opening days: Nativity scene exhibition at the historic Plattner Farm in Wolfsgruben.
