Bolzano in spring is filled with vibrant colors and enchanting scents as the traditional Flower Festival celebrates its 135th year. Walther Square will be adorned with countless flower arrangements and unique decorations, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Originally, the flower market was held at the Obstmarkt and later moved to Silbergasse. However, for many years now, the Bolzano Flower Market has transformed Walther Square, the "living room" of Bolzano, into a true colorful sea of flowers. The ringing of the tongue bells still marks the official opening today. From April 30th to May 1st, visitors can enjoy a colorful program. In addition to the participating nurseries, there are concerts, garden activities for children, workshops, and offerings from young gardeners.

On May 1st, the fairground in Dorf Tirol will become a “Gourmet spot” where local makers will present their products and invite visitors to taste, talk shop and buy in a beautiful spring setting. Look forward to all kinds of home-made delicacies and to an amazing programme of events for the littlest ones. The Dorf Tirol section of the Hoteliers & Landlords Association (HGV) will be taking care of the catering.

The 28th stage of the 9th edition of International Street Food 2025, the most important street food event in Italy, will be held in Merano, in Viale Europa - Station Park, from Thursday 1 May to Sunday 4 May 2025, from 12 noon to midnight. The event is organised by Alfredo Orofino, president of A.I.R.S. (Italian Association of Street Food Restaurants), in collaboration with the Municipality

Antiques and rarities - Kallmüntz Castle - Merano

The Manuart APS Association in Bolzano organizes monthly events dedicated to craft markets, where local creatives showcase their creations. Artisans from the region work with various materials, with a particular focus on recycling and sustainability. Visitors can discover a wide range of handmade products, including bags, jewelry, paper crafts, ceramics, wood, felt, crochet, fused glass, sculptures, paintings, wirework, leather, fabric, buttons, cans, and much more. Additionally, throughout the year, special days are organized for children to teach them how to create using recycled materials. A unique opportunity to stimulate creativity, promote craftsmanship, and raise awareness among young people about the importance of recycling and environmental respect.

Every Friday, from the beginning of April to mid-October, farmers from the Sterzing area offer their local quality products at the farmers' market. At the market in the town square of Sterzing, people meet for the weekly purchase of local South Tyrolean products or for a "glass of wine". The varied offer ranges from traditional bacon and “Kaminwurzen” , fresh and smoked trout, cheese and yogurt specialties, homemade bread, organic wines, herbs, honey, eggs to homemade juices and fresh vegetables. Monthly market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The monthly market takes place from March to September on the first Saturday of each month. It offers a diverse platform for vendors from a wide range of sectors. Among the products on offer are local goods, handicrafts, clothing, culinary specialties, household items, and much more.

The ideal spot for a sustanaible shopping experience that is local by nature or a voyage of discovery in search of South Tyrolean flavors and traditional expertise. The market stalls were designed by Martino Gamper, a designer born and raised in Merano, who has since made a name for himself internationally.

On Saturday the fairground in St. Martin/S. Martino dives deep into its roots. Characteristic and high quality products for guests and locals. The market reflects a moment of enjoyment of the cuisine of the Passeiertal Valley: honey, cheese, bacon, wine, beer, freshly made bread and pasta, "Krapfen" and "Strudel" tyrolean specialities, teas. In addition interesting things from the world of herbs and handicrafts: felt work, decorations, wood art.

market with farmers products Every Saturday, from 8 o'clock, the farmers' market takes place in Sarentino at the church place. Fresh products such as salads, vegetables, eggs, cakes, doughnuts and juices are on offer.

On Saturday mornings from 7:30 a.m. until noon, there is the opportunity to buy fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as homemade honey, directly from farmers and producers. The small farmers' market is located on Via Pietralba in the center of Laives."

Local and seasonal, straight from the producer. Farmers from the surrounding area bring their own farm produce to the Brixen old town centre. Depending on the season, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, flowers, honey, homemade jams and pasta sauces, refined distillates and organically grown herbs as well as wooden handicrafts are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From April to October, local associations prepare fresh tirtln (fried stuffed pastry) on site on a weekly basis. This means that every Saturday is also a culinary experience. This market has been a popular, lively meeting place for locals and guests for 30 years.
