At the weekly market in Laives you will find a large selection of clothing as well as South Tyrolean specialities such as vegetables, fruit, bread and bacon. Every Thursday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, you have the opportunity to stroll through the Via Kennedy in the section between the junction with Via Pietralba and the junction with Via Galizia. If Thursday is a public holiday, the market will take place on Wednesday.

"Farmer's Market" The village square of Kastelruth is blooming with peasant life. The farmer's market is an attractive way to get a mix of regional products and delicacies. The market is a perfect opportunity to spend the morning strolling through the alleys and buying local produce. Here you can find everything from fresh vegetables & fruits, bacon, cheese to various organic herbal products. Many stalls sell locally made products that are unique and distinctive to the region.

Every Friday, from the beginning of April to mid-October, farmers from the Sterzing area offer their local quality products at the farmers' market. At the market in the town square of Sterzing, people meet for the weekly purchase of local South Tyrolean products or for a "glass of wine". The varied offer ranges from traditional bacon and “Kaminwurzen” , fresh and smoked trout, cheese and yogurt specialties, homemade bread, organic wines, herbs, honey, eggs to homemade juices and fresh vegetables. Locals and guests have appreciated the market for over a decade now. Tip: Do not miss the delicious “Krapfen and Tirtler” of the Wipptaler farmers' wives!

More than 40 exhibitors showcase a wide variety of items – from natural cosmetics and jewelry to decorations and woodwork.
