As of today, the Christmas market and the ice rink are officially open!
The Christmas market is open on weekends from Friday to Sunday as well as on public holidays, while the ice rink is available for you every day.
At the opening ceremony, there will be a short speech. Afterwards, the Tourist Association invites you to enjoy a small refreshment with mulled wine, Christmas cookies, and panettone.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Santoni Family from South Tyrol, followed by DJ Fillini.
Our Christmas market invites visitors to linger with 25 stalls. Here, visitors will find a wide selection of products: from cheese to bread, from ceramics to jewellery, from candles to honey.

On November 29 and 30 and from December 6 to 8, 2025, Schenna Castle transforms into a charming meeting place for lovers of good food and festive atmosphere: Advent at Schenna Castle combines culinary delights, traditional craftsmanship, and the magic of the pre-Christmas season in a unique way.
Under the motto “Dishes with a Story”, a food stall serves traditional meals from days gone by – authentically prepared and with a deep love for South Tyrolean cuisine.
High-quality exhibitors present regional products all centered around fine food – from handmade specialties to delightful gift ideas for gourmets.
Ancient crafts come to life on site: watch, discover, and marvel at how things used to be made.
A lovingly designed children’s program awaits our youngest guests, making Advent at Schenna Castle a special experience for the whole family.

During Advent, the Christmas Market takes place at Piazza San Giacomo square on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on 8 December, featuring stalls with local handicrafts and culinary delicacies.

On weekends and holidays, the village square of Kastelruth transforms into a charming Christmas world.
At eight lovingly decorated stalls, you’ll find mulled wine, delicious Christmas cookies, handcrafted decorations, jams, wooden crafts, and much more.
Live music creates a festive atmosphere, filling the square with Christmas sounds. Even the little visitors are not forgotten: right next to the Christmas market, the ice skating rink is open daily.

It all started with a few hardworking women who had a knack for crafting, designing, and decorating - soon the idea for a different kind of Christmas market was born. Every 2 years, the large clubhouse in Stilfes becomes a unique marketplace for (not just) Christmas decorations - nothing here is "Made in China", everything is homemade. The lovingly handcrafted products range from artistic candles and festive wreaths to unique pieces of jewelry and culinary delights. Visitors can stroll through the festively decorated hall, enjoy the warm atmosphere, and sample mulled wine or goulash soup in a cozy setting. The proceeds will go to "Südtirol hilft'", as always.

Brennet Liab enchants with festive brass melodies, bringing the pure Christmas spirit directly to the christmas market Algund – an experience for music lovers and families alike.
The group is made up of selected musicians from the Burggrafenamt area around Merano and is complemented by a Styrian accordion. The four brass players explore a wide range of musical genres, including folk music, jazz, and classical pieces. They perform with joy and passion, a enthusiasm that hopefully spreads to the audience and makes the festive spirit of Advent come alive.

On the first Sunday in Advent, the House of Culture in Steinegg is transformed into an atmospheric Christmas market, organised by the charity women of Steinegg. The traditional market offers a warm atmosphere, lovingly designed stands and a diverse range of handmade products, delicious treats and festive decorations.
The special thing about this Christmas market is that all the net proceeds go to charity. The 20 or so active members of the association and numerous supporters from Steinegg and the surrounding area work hard to make this day a very special event.

At 2:30 pm, a reflective service in honor of St. Nicholas will take place in the church.
Afterwards, we’ll continue celebrating together at Raiffeisen Square: the brass ensemble of the music band Andreas Hofer St. Leonhard will provide festive Christmas tunes.
St. Nicholas will arrive in a beautifully decorated carriage with his angels – bringing lovingly prepared gift bags for all the children.
