Christmas as it used to be: the Mountain Advent in Trodena brings back the true spirit of Christmas: alpine traditions, ancient customs, and moments of reflection. Far from the hustle and bustle, the winding alleys and old cellars of the village center turn into a magical Advent setting: the market with a petting zoo, handmade crafts, traditional skills, and Grandpa’s Christmas workshop. Highlights also include the Krampus parade and concerts in the village church. In December 2025, the beloved Advent market will once again enchant visitors in the picturesque alleys and rustic cellars of Trodena.

Flea market - used items from the household, cellar and attic fill the flea market stall and make you want to rummage and haggle in Oberlana, Marktplatz Lorenzerweg Lana car park, 6.00-19.00 (Registration for stand operators under mobile +39 335 612 708 9).

The profits from the stall rents go to needy families in Lana and the surrounding area.

The Small Christmas Market at the Cultural Centre offers a cosy and festive afternoon filled with local flavours, crafts, and holiday cheer. This light is carried by children into the hearts of the people in our village during the afternoon “Marende” (snack) time, in various corners of the village. For the Christmas Market, Danima brings a warm, approachable, and dynamic soundscape shaped by two voices, guitar, cajón, and piano – a perfect match for a festive Advent afternoon.

Danima is a trio from South Tyrol, consisting of Daniele Bordato (guitar, vocals), Nico Platter (cajón / keyboard), and Manuel Pircher (guitar).
The project began as a cover band performing classic rock ’n’ roll hits and evolved over the years: in addition to reinterpreting timeless evergreens, they now also write their own songs in English.

Their concerts are heartfelt, lively, and full of passion.
