Mindful.Latemar is the first immersive mindfulness trail in the Alps. It is located in Obereggen along the circular trail on Golfrion, at the foot of the Dolomites at an altitude of 1,872 meters. The trail features 18 different mindfulness exercises at a unique place that became a symbol of perseverance and resilience after Storm Vaia in November 2018. Mindfulness helps you to be present and aware of the current moment. Mindful.Latemar is a place of well-being, full of experiences and emotions, where everyone can reconnect with themselves and realign by enhancing their own psychophysiological well-being. This cooking course is all about local wild herbs. Herbs and wild herbs are collected in the garden, which are then processed into a delicious lunch together with herbalist Rosi Mangger Walder. The event will be in German and Italian.

In a letter dating February 1911, he reveals to Carl Gustav Jung «Next summer. I need a place where I can be alone with a forest nearby». So, before Easter, on Friday, the 14th of April, he leaves Vienna in the company of his friend and pupil Sandor Ferenczi and makes a quick tour lasting just six days to find a suitable place around Trento and Bolzano. He returns to Vienna the following Thursday and his research produces excellent results in the form of Ritten/Renon near Bolzano. Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. This is where the Freuds celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, on 14th September - the enjoyment of their holiday thus being enhanced by love and affection. Three days dedicated to painting, immersed in nature, discovering the unique landscapes of the Dolomites. A good occasion to learn or explore the fascinating painting technique of watercolour. Long walks in nature are planned, to discover unique landscapes to depict in a painting (in Italian language). Each participant is responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements. During a herbal walk, we learn about the most important local plants and their uses. We then make a tincture and an oil extract with plant material under instruction. We then use these extracts to make various products together (e.g. lip balm, insect bite roller, ointment ...). Afterwards, the participants can take home 1 product of each of the treasures they have made (with the corresponding instructions for production and recipe). During the walk, you breathe deeply, listen to the sounds of nature and feel the energy of the trees. You can recharge your batteries and find deep relaxation at selected power spots. Georg Kirchmaier will show you how everything in the forest lives in symbiosis and help you to reconnect with nature. Together with the herb fairy Tamara you will get to know different herbs and their effects and enchant them with various recipes for products: creams, ointments, tinctures, juice, salt,.... She will share her knowledge about different herbs with you and will be happy to answer all your herbal questions! In the end you will be rich in various recipes and homemade herbal products. We propose cooking lessons based on simple ingredients. You can learn about our traditional Ladin cooking linked to local traditions. In a few hours, you can learn to cook and finally enjoy some Ladin specialities. The cook speaks Italian and German. Every week, new topics await you – from the healing power of herbs and natural remedies to their creative use in the kitchen. Whether you're interested in medicinal herbs, traditional herbal medicine, or culinary wild herbs, you'll find the perfect topic for you. In this workshop with herb expert Renate, you'll learn which wild herbs are best suited for a salad and what valuable properties they have. Together, we will prepare a delicious wild herb salad, which we will then enjoy in a friendly atmosphere. As a small souvenir, you can take home your handmade herbal product from the workshop. Under the professional guidance of a state-certified mountain guide you learn the abc of climbing at the Marchegg climbing garden. Equipment is provided free of charge. You only need to bring trekking shoes or runners and comfortable clothing. Food and drinks are available in the Marchegghof tavern nearby. The original South Tyrolean apple strudel is baked together with the farmer's wife of the 737-year-old Schildhof farm - with shortcrust pastry and without pine nuts. The ingredients, tricks and tips will be explained. A nut strudel made from yeast dough is also made together. While the strudels bake in the oven, we enjoy a vegetable strudel together, accompanied by fresh tomato salad from the garden. Finally, the dessert is served warm from the oven. We want to open the doors and reveal the secrets of this treasure to you too, through small Ladin language courses, visits to the most important institutions in the valley, the places that preserve the history and culture of our Ladin mother tongue.
