On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. Guided afternoon hike with Klaus Demar. Meeting point: Train stop Lichtenstern. Duration: 3-4 hours, pure walking time: 2 hours. Difficulty: middle. Price: € 15, free with RittenCard. Language: German & Italian. We meet us at 2.20 p.m. at the Lichtenstern/Station (2.06 p.m. train from Oberbozen/ Klobenstein). In Lichtenstern we learn about the 117-year-old Ritten Railway. From here we climb to the Waldneregg prehistoric cult site. We follow the path near the mythical "Menhir" to Lake Wolfsgruben. Along the Eschenbach stream, which drained the lake, the "Seemüller" had rights to use the irrigation water and the water power for their mills, sawmills and a forge. We look at the old buildings (from the outside) and descend to the beautifully situated Unterinn. On a tour of the village, we visit the parish church - the original parish of Ritten - which is well worth seeing, before taking the bus to Klobenstein, where our hike ends. Registration required!

Far from the world

Safe in the bosom of the earth, you are there just for yourself, with everyday life far away on the outside, while fascinating music surrounds you. Various singing bowls, gons and other instruments are played in these sound baths. Soft sounds and dim lighting will lead you into a world where you can slow down for two hours, cut off from all outside contact. The mountain takes you into itself, free from all electromagnetic radiation, pollen, fine dust or hectic activity.

Registration obligatory, duration 2 hours, warm clothes are required and sturdy footwear for the entry into the gallery is recommended. Helmets and raincoats are provided by the Museum, as well as the slippers for the climate gallery, if necesarry.

DAKSY'S NATURE WORKSHOP for children from 6 to 12 years This summer, the Visito Center of Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park is once again organizing programmes for children every Friday afternoon to deepen their knowledge of plants, animals and geology, ... - each week the focus is on a new topic that we will explore together.

Basics of golf, e.g. types of clubs, golf course with fairway, greens. First strokes with the pro (golf instructor) and his assistants. Small putting competition at the end. Afterwards: informal talk over a glass of wine and South Tyrolean bacon with Schüttelbrot.

Rosadira Bike Days from June 11 - 15, 2025 in the Eggental Valley Guided tours, workshops, South Tyrolean delights & get-togethers – all against the breathtaking backdrop of the Eggental Dolomites. For four days, everything in Welschnofen, Deutschnofen and Obereggen revolves around biking: from guided bike and e-bike tours at various skill levels to workshops for refining your riding technique or improving your mechanical skills. Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairy Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. The Resia Lake offers perfect wind and water conditions for the sport, turning this formerly remote region into one of the most popular kite surfing centers in the Alps. The Language Café is a way to practise speaking a foreign language in company and in an informal environment. At the Don Bosco Library in Laives you will find a moderator for each table, i.e. for each language. Depending on the language you want to practise in, choose your table, sit down and... start chatting! You will talk to the moderator or moderator and the other people like you sitting at that table. If you get tired, you can safely leave or change tables. In general, it is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of your chosen language in order to be able to follow the conversation and participate actively.

In the children's course "How is a bike built?" kids will playfully discover the essential parts of a bicycle and their functions. In this repair workshop, everything revolves around bike maintenance and adjustments to suit personal needs. We begin with a general safety check of the bike to ensure that all important components are in excellent condition. This includes checking the brakes, lights, chain, and gears. Next, we focus on adjusting the seat height to ensure an ergonomic riding position and improve comfort. Participants will also learn how to correctly adjust the suspension fork and shock absorbers to provide optimal shock absorption depending on the terrain. Another important part of the workshop is learning how to handle a flat tire in the field: We will demonstrate simple and effective methods for quickly and safely repairing a punctured tire. Finally, we will practice changing a tire together, so that everyone knows how to continue riding independently in case of an emergency.
