Cross country taster course (classic) for adults and children up to 12 years. The Cross-Country and Biathlon School Antholzertal will teach you the basics of the classic technique in this introductory course – perfect for trying out the sport.

Every Monday evening, Olang glows with a very special atmosphere: during the torchlight hike, you can discover the winter village bathed in the warm glow of flickering flames – a truly magical experience. The leisurely walk lasts about 45 minutes and leads you through the snow-covered landscape – a highlight for young and old alike. The shimmering lights create a unique mood, making this evening an unforgettable experience for the whole family. At the end of the hike, a warm tea or mulled wine awaits you at the Panorama Restaurant, the perfect way to round off this enchanting evening in the Dolomites.

Experience the fascination of cross-country skiing - exercise without exertion! Our taster course is aimed at adults and young people aged 12 and over who would like to learn the basics of this winter sport. Under expert guidance, you will learn the first steps of the technique, try your hand at cross-country skiing and enjoy the winter wonderland. No previous experience is required.

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass Kronplatz. All others pay an entry fee of €5.00. No registration is required.

The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 2th December to 1st January 2026, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco.

A walk at nightfall takes you along the idyllic landscape of the valley of Marebbe. The flickering light of the torches will reveal one suggestion after another, creating shadows that animate the silent meadows and woods of the Dolomites with life. To warm up, at the end of the excursion we invite you to enjoy a drink all together.

During the ascent to Monte Muro, following an easy path through evergreen forests and softly snow-covered meadows, hiking guide Christoph will reveal the secrets jealously guarded by these mountains and their nature. When you reach the summit, a serene plain, a spectacular panorama opens up before you, sweeping 360 degrees from Val Badia to Val Pusteria, dotted with some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites. On clear days, the view can reach as far as the peaks of Austria and beyond.

The fauna of the Dolomites includes many types of known and easily sighted animals, such as squirrels and deers, but includes as many, difficult to see and hear, especially in the world of birds of prey. After an introduction in the Nature Park House Visitor Center (approx. 50 min., only in Italian!), we will drive to the Owls Park, where Mario will show and tell us the peculiarities of his feathered friends.

Meeting place: Nature Park Visitor center, San Vigilio (transfer to the Owl Park in your own vehicle)

On this family walk you will discover all the tricks, which the animals in the Nature Park have developed to survive during the cold season. With help from a ranger, children and parents will learn together how to interpret animal tracks in the forest. After the adven- ture in the snow, you can warm up with a good hot tea in the Visitor center.

Put on your snowshoes, a heavy jacket, and enter the Valley of the Mills following Christoph, an expert hiking guide. The moonlight, reflected on the snow-covered ground, reveals for you our fabulous Dolomites, which show themselves in a unique and spectacular new guise. Christoph will also take you to discover how the ancient mills that give the valley its name work.
To warm you up, a hot drink will be waiting for you when you return.

On return to the start we warmly invite everyone to a hot drink.

Snowshoes are ideal for getting around in fresh snow, away from the crowds and discovering views and landscapes that only a few have the privilege of seeing. This snowshoe hike is particularly suitable for those who have never used this fun tool. The route is easy and without any technical difficulties, but allows you to approach hiking in fresh snow, a wonderful way to connect with winter nature. Minimum age: 12 years In Italian or German language.

Seeing it with your own eyes, it is not surprising that, for thousands of years, the Fanes plateau and its mountains have inspired stories and legends of princesses, heroes and lost kingdoms. Starting at the Pederu Hut, Christoph, an experienced hiking guide, will take you to the mountain pasture Fanes, at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, through an astonishing variety of landscapes. Snow-covered groves, frozen lakes and austere mountains form the backdrop for a wonderful hike, where legend becomes reality.

Surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery of the Rieserferner Group to the north and the peaks of the Val Casies Valley to the south, this easy introductory tour becomes a memorable experience. At the far end of the Val Casies Valley, S. Maddalena offers a wide range of rewarding ski touring routes – including the scenic Kasertal. Depending on snow conditions, the tour takes you either to the Regelspitze 2745 m or the Kaserspitze 2768 m. From both summits, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Dolomites to the south. In winter, the Pragser Wildsee lake 1496 m is frozen and snow-covered – a perfect starting point for ski touring right across the lake. Once you reach the northern shore, the options are yours: ascend the Großer Jaufen 2480 m via the “Nabige Loch,” or head right through the Seitenbach Valley to reach the Senneser Karspitze 2659 m or the Col de Riciogogn 2650 m. The Plätzwiese high plateau in the Pragser Tal Valley is a high plateau at 2000 m. From the parking area, you can already see two of the three possible ski touring destinations: the Picco di Vallandro 2839 m and the Pyramid (Crepe di Val Chiara 2711 m). The third ski tour, right in the heart of the Hohe Gaisl, the Pinscharte at 2565 m, can only be glimpsed from the refuge Plätzwiesenhütte. All three tours have one thing in common: you’re surrounded by the Dolomites, with stunning views of the Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo). In German language. From end of march til Mid August. First discover the old and new cellars of the Terlan winery, founded in 1893, see how the wine is made and how the bottles are bottled.
