The authentic wine experience for all senses takes place in the newly created wing of the Cantina Kurtatsch. During the visit, you will gain fascinating insights into the importance of terroir, the variety of Kurtatsch’s vineyard sites, and its unique wines. The educational TERROIR Experience will lead you into the new dolomite barrique cellar with its natural rock wall and conclude with a tasting of 5 wines from our TERROIR line. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 18 people. Please note that dogs are welcome in our wine shop and on the terrace, but for hygiene reasons they cannot take part in the guided tours. Südtirols Süden Card: If you are in possession of the “Südtirols Süden Card”, please indicate this in the appropriate field when booking. The discount will then be applied automatically. The indication that you hold the Guest Card must be made during the booking process, as the discount cannot be granted retrospectively. Children are very welcome to join the guided tour. Participation is free of charge for children up to 15 years old, while for teenagers aged 16 to 18 we charge €10 for the tour.

An atmospheric winter evening: during a torch-lit walk through the historic old town of Vipiteno, Italy’s northernmost city reveals its most romantic side. Guided by the flickering light of torches, an experienced guide leads the way through narrow alleys, past impressive buildings and historic squares – places that take on a magical charm in the soft glow. Fascinating stories and old legends bring the town’s rich past to life, making this walk a truly special experience. To round off the evening, a cozy stop awaits: warm up with a cup of tea or a hot mulled wine and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in good company. Step in, be amazed, and enjoy – an unforgettable evening in the wintery charm of Vipiteno.

The starting point is the Popena bridge on the access road to Lake Misurina. The trail first follows the Rio Popena gently uphill. Already during the ascent, you can admire the majestic Dolomite peaks – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – in all their glory. Further up, the valley opens up, offering stunning views of the Cristallino di Misurina and Monte Popena. At around 2000 m, the forest begins to thin out and the terrain becomes more open. The route continues to the Sella di Popena, where you enjoy a magnificent panorama of the entire valley and Lake Misurina. In good conditions, you can extend the tour to the Corno d’Angolo.
