Experience the calm and grace of classic cross-country skiing! In this beginner course for adults and children aged 6 and up, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the classic technique. With expert guidance, you’ll master the basic movements, glide along the trail, and enjoy the snowy winter landscape – no prior experience needed.

Every Monday evening, Olang glows with a very special atmosphere: during the torchlight hike, you can discover the winter village bathed in the warm glow of flickering flames – a truly magical experience. The leisurely walk lasts about 45 minutes and leads you through the snow-covered landscape – a highlight for young and old alike. The shimmering lights create a unique mood, making this evening an unforgettable experience for the whole family. At the end of the hike, a warm tea or mulled wine awaits you at the Panorama Restaurant, the perfect way to round off this enchanting evening in the Dolomites. Experience the thrill of skating! In this beginner course for adults and children aged 6 and up, you’ll discover the basics of the skating technique. With professional instruction, you’ll learn the proper movements, test your skills on the trail, and enjoy the fresh winter air – no prior experience required.

Experience the fascination of cross-country skiing - exercise without exertion! Our taster course is aimed at adults and young people aged 12 and over who would like to learn the basics of this winter sport. Under expert guidance, you will learn the first steps of the technique, try your hand at cross-country skiing and enjoy the winter wonderland. No previous experience is required.

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass Kronplatz. All others pay an entry fee of €5.00. No registration is required.

The guided Giro delle Cime tour is a must for skiers who want to dive deep into the winter splendour of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The guided tour is organised by the respective ski schools in the area. Registration and payment is therefore made directly with the respective ski school.

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable winter experience at Mount Horse: An atmospheric torchlight walk takes you through the snow-covered landscape, illuminated by the soft light of torches. Discover the enchanted atmosphere of Mount Horse at night and enjoy the tranquillity of the winter mountain. A warm mulled wine awaits you in a quaint mountain hut, perfect to warm your toes and recharge your batteries for the next adventure. Refreshed and full of enthusiasm, you will then race down the valley on Italy's longest floodlit toboggan run! The adventurous descent guarantees fun and adrenaline for young and old alike. Experience the perfect combination of romance, fun and adventure for an unforgettable winter evening!

Monte Baranci is bathed in floodlight from 7-10pm and the atmosphere is fit for a world cup, providing both superlative night skiing and sledging on run a 3km in length. The Rifugio Gigante Baranci mountain hut is open.

Opening ceremony COOP FIS Tour de Ski performance by Le Gruyère AOP The world's cross-country skiing elite will be introduced as part of the team presentation at the pavilion on the forecourt of the primary school. This will be followed by interviews with some well-known athletes. The evening will continue with live music. Deer & Winter – Candle Lanterns From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, with a little imagination and the warm glow of a tea light, we’ll create charming decorations that bring light and coziness to wintertime. Craft your own winter lanterns and enjoy a creative break!

The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year. From 27th December to 1st January 2026, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. Lucky Charms & Little Talismans From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, we’ll craft little lucky charms for the New Year – chimney sweep figures, lucky pigs, greeting cards, and other creative talismans. Perfect for giving as gifts or brightening up your own home!

The band Saxessful will provide musical accompaniment and a lively atmosphere at the Christmas market from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

During the ascent to Monte Muro, following an easy path through evergreen forests and softly snow-covered meadows, hiking guide Christoph will reveal the secrets jealously guarded by these mountains and their nature. When you reach the summit, a serene plain, a spectacular panorama opens up before you, sweeping 360 degrees from Val Badia to Val Pusteria, dotted with some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites. On clear days, the view can reach as far as the peaks of Austria and beyond.

A walk at nightfall takes you along the idyllic landscape of the valley of Marebbe. The flickering light of the torches will reveal one suggestion after another, creating shadows that animate the silent meadows and woods of the Dolomites with life. To warm up, at the end of the excursion we invite you to enjoy a drink all together.

The fauna of the Dolomites includes many types of known and easily sighted animals, such as squirrels and deers, but includes as many, difficult to see and hear, especially in the world of birds of prey. After an introduction in the Nature Park House Visitor Center (approx. 50 min., only in Italian!), we will drive to the Owls Park, where Mario will show and tell us the peculiarities of his feathered friends.

From 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, join the New Year’s Eve Party with DJ PIOL. Kick off the new year with great vibes and let’s celebrate the night together!

ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES! Baking together traditional bread in a wood-burning oven is fun and not difficult. The farmers demonstrate step by step how to mix all ingredients to form a dough. People are invited to lend a hand, and while the dough rises, they may discover the farm, the garden and the animals such as cows, calves, pigs and rabbits. Finally, the loaves will be baked in a wood-burning oven and, afterwards, tasted together. An interesting and exciting experience for the whole family! Meeting point: Tourist information office in Teis at the Mineral Museum, Teiser Straße 12 Time: 1.00 pm - duration: approx. 3 hours The farm is 2 km outside the village. On this family walk you will discover all the tricks, which the animals in the Nature Park have developed to survive during the cold season. With help from a ranger, children and parents will learn together how to interpret animal tracks in the forest. After the adven- ture in the snow, you can warm up with a good hot tea in the Visitor center.

Put on your snowshoes, a heavy jacket, and enter the Valley of the Mills following Christoph, an expert hiking guide. The moonlight, reflected on the snow-covered ground, reveals for you our fabulous Dolomites, which show themselves in a unique and spectacular new guise. Christoph will also take you to discover how the ancient mills that give the valley its name work.
To warm you up, a hot drink will be waiting for you when you return.

On return to the start we warmly invite everyone to a hot drink.

From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, we’ll craft little autumn elves and charming candle holders for Advent. Using natural materials, wooden beads, felt, fabric scraps, and colorful paper, we’ll create magical little artworks – perfect for gifts or decorating your home!

Every Wednesday evening in January and February, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the ice rink in Gossensass transforms into a glittering sheet of ice for night owls. Enjoy the special experience of gliding across the ice to music and sparkling lights.

Evening amission is free with the activeCARD - so put on your skates and let´s go!
