Alpine ski course for children from 3 to 10 years (beginners).

Experience the calm and grace of classic cross-country skiing! In this beginner course for adults and children aged 6 and up, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the classic technique. With expert guidance, you’ll master the basic movements, glide along the trail, and enjoy the snowy winter landscape – no prior experience needed.

Children's face painting: bright colours and lots of glitter promise great fantasy faces Participation is free of charge and booking is not required.

Every Monday evening, Olang glows with a very special atmosphere: during the torchlight hike, you can discover the winter village bathed in the warm glow of flickering flames – a truly magical experience. The leisurely walk lasts about 45 minutes and leads you through the snow-covered landscape – a highlight for young and old alike. The shimmering lights create a unique mood, making this evening an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

At the end of the hike, a apple mulled-wine mix (alcohol-free) or mulled wine awaits you at the Panorama Restaurant, the perfect way to round off this enchanting evening in the Dolomites.

Experience the thrill of skating! In this beginner course for adults and children aged 6 and up, you’ll discover the basics of the skating technique. With professional instruction, you’ll learn the proper movements, test your skills on the trail, and enjoy the fresh winter air – no prior experience required.

Marc Perin and Damian Hofmann will provide music and a lively atmosphere. They will perform from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, creating a wonderful winter and Christmas ambience.

Experience the fascination of cross-country skiing - exercise without exertion! Our taster course is aimed at adults and young people aged 12 and over who would like to learn the basics of this winter sport. Under expert guidance, you will learn the first steps of the technique, try your hand at cross-country skiing and enjoy the winter wonderland. No previous experience is required.

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings.

Participation is free with the Guest Pass Kronplatz. All others pay an entry fee of €5.00.

No registration is required.

The guided Giro delle Cime tour is a must for skiers who want to dive deep into the winter splendour of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The guided tour is organised by the respective ski schools in the area. Registration and payment is therefore made directly with the respective ski school.

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable winter experience at Mount Horse: An atmospheric torchlight walk takes you through the snow-covered landscape, illuminated by the soft light of torches. Discover the enchanted atmosphere of Mount Horse at night and enjoy the tranquillity of the winter mountain. A warm mulled wine awaits you in a quaint mountain hut, perfect to warm your toes and recharge your batteries for the next adventure. Refreshed and full of enthusiasm, you will then race down the valley on Italy's longest floodlit toboggan run! The adventurous descent guarantees fun and adrenaline for young and old alike. Experience the perfect combination of romance, fun and adventure for an unforgettable winter evening!

Monte Baranci is bathed in floodlight from 7-10pm and the atmosphere is fit for a world cup, providing both superlative night skiing and sledging on run a 3km in length. The Rifugio Gigante Baranci mountain hut is open.

Opening ceremony COOP FIS Tour de Ski performance by Le Gruyère AOP The world's cross-country skiing elite will be introduced as part of the team presentation at the pavilion on the forecourt of the primary school. This will be followed by interviews with some well-known athletes. The evening will continue with live music. MUSIC IN THE TOWN CENTER Laura Taschler, a young and talented musician, providing musical highlights. Look forward to an evening full of atmosphere!

Deer & Winter – Candle Lanterns From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, with a little imagination and the warm glow of a tea light, we’ll create charming decorations that bring light and coziness to wintertime. Craft your own winter lanterns and enjoy a creative break!

The world's cross-country skiing elite will once again be guests in Dobbiaco - together we will celebrate the turn of the year.

From 27th December to 1st January 2026, the best cross-country skiers in the world will be competing for prestigious World Cup points in the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco.

Campfire Magic & Crafting Fun By the campfire, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we’ll make charcoal pencils and wire figures and create delicious campfire treats together!

Lucky Charms & Little Talismans From 3:00 – 5:00 PM, we’ll craft little lucky charms for the New Year – chimney sweep figures, lucky pigs, greeting cards, and other creative talismans. Perfect for giving as gifts or brightening up your own home!

The band Saxessful will provide musical accompaniment and a lively atmosphere at the Christmas market from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

During the ascent to Monte Muro, following an easy path through evergreen forests and softly snow-covered meadows, hiking guide Christoph will reveal the secrets jealously guarded by these mountains and their nature. When you reach the summit, a serene plain, a spectacular panorama opens up before you, sweeping 360 degrees from Val Badia to Val Pusteria, dotted with some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites. On clear days, the view can reach as far as the peaks of Austria and beyond.

A walk at nightfall takes you along the idyllic landscape of the valley
of Marebbe. The flickering light of the torches will reveal one suggestion after another, creating shadows that animate the silent meadows and woods of the Dolomites with life. To warm up, at the end of the excursion we invite you to enjoy a drink all together.

Would you like to learn the secret of preparing this traditional Tyrolean specialty? Together with Mrs. Elisabeth, you will prepare and bake a strudel! Tea and coffee will be served during the baking process. A unique experience! The fauna of the Dolomites includes many types of known and easily sighted animals, such as squirrels and deers, but includes as many, difficult to see and hear, especially in the world of birds of prey. After an introduction in the Nature Park House Visitor Center (approx. 50 min., only in Italian!), we will drive to the Owls Park, where Mario will show and tell us the peculiarities of his feathered friends.
