Ripened in the sun, distilled in a copper vat: at the Gaudenz Farm Distillery only first-class, hand-picked fruit finds its way inside. Williams pears, apples, grapes, Vinschgau apricots and quinces are transformed into the finest, single-origin fruit brandies by hand using the keen instinct of the master distiller, which, with their authentic flavour are a true delight for the taste buds. Christine Schönweger, farmer and South Tyrol’s only female master distiller, describes the path she has taken from a love of fruit, via the art of distilling, to genuine and authentic indulgence, with a guided tour of the Gaudenz farm distillery in the Gaudententurm Residence plus tasting of the farm's own spirits.

They will bring their best wines and spirits, share the stories behind them, and let you experience the authentic flavors of South Tyrol.

Have you ever tasted wines “blind”? Join us on a sensual journey – an experience that will let you discover wine in a completely new way. We’ll give you fascinating insights into the history and philosophy of our winery. Afterwards, you’ll taste four of our white wines “blind” – side by side, without labels, relying solely on your senses. The visit to the gardens with the art exhibition is included. ​ ​

Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. On the way, at the Baron Widmann winery, in the vineyards, at the Castel Turmhof Tiefenbrunner winery and in the Cantina Cortaccia, you can taste 5 typical wines. The walk lasts 3 1/2-4 hours, about 50 minutes of which are spent actually walking.

ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES! Baking together traditional bread in a wood-burning oven is fun and not difficult. The farmers demonstrate step by step how to mix all ingredients to form a dough. People are invited to lend a hand, and while the dough rises, they may discover the farm, the garden and the animals such as cows, calves, pigs and rabbits. Finally, the loaves will be baked in a wood-burning oven and, afterwards, tasted together. An interesting and exciting experience for the whole family! Wine tasting and visit to the winery Haidenhof Tscherms. The hillside Haidenhof farm is known for ist first-class wines. The vineyards on ist slopes yield no less than seven Grape varietals, at 16.00 (with registration, T +39 0473 564 451).

After visiting the marble world and taking a short stroll through the marble village, you will be culinary tempted during the chocolate and praline tasting.

Oak, glass and breathtaking views: The Cantina Merano Winery is a must-visit for anyone who loves architecture, design and wine. During a guided cellar tour, visitors can learn how grapes are transformed into wine and explore the stunningly designed cellar spaces, each with its unique color scheme. Local and seasonal, straight from the producer. Farmers from the surrounding area bring their own farm produce to the Brixen old town centre. Depending on the season, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, flowers, honey, homemade jams and pasta sauces, refined distillates and organically grown herbs as well as wooden handicrafts are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From April to October, local associations prepare fresh tirtln (fried stuffed pastry) on site on a weekly basis. This means that every Saturday is also a culinary experience. This market has been a popular, lively meeting place for locals and guests for 30 years.

Wine & dine with chefs from around the globe Igor “Iggy” Kuznetsov, Vienna Iggy is a chef who reveres the slow and dedicated craft of cooking. He made a name for himself as a ramen pioneer in Vienna, Austria, and honed his culinary skills at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián, Spain. His path led him further to Tokyo’s renowned kitchens, including Shinobu Namae’s L’Effervescence and Thomas Frebel’s INUA. His eclectic dishes reflect strong influences from Asian cuisines—such as Japanese, Korean, and Thai—combined with touches of various European traditions. Iggy believes that good food, prepared simply yet thoughtfully with local ingredients and above all with respect for nature and community, is a natural path to a healthy and happy life. His dishes tell stories of the places he has visited and lived. Over these four days, he will share a fusion of France, Italy, Nepal, and Japan with his guests at Mondschein. The boss of the Hofkaffee invites you to a dumpling cooking course and reveals tips and tricks to ensure that the classic South Tyrolean holiday dish is a success.
