The Volunteer Fire Brigade of Teis invites you to the Teis Fire Brigade Festival. Saturday, 16th August from 6.00 pm with specialities and live music. Sunday, 17th August from 10.00 am with specialities from the grill and concert by the music band Teis after procession, performance of the music band "Pfondbuam" and show exercise of the youth fire brigade group Teis.

Summer concert of the music band di Ega at the Mayrl Alm. The program of the musci band is colorful, from modern pieces to traditional marches. Look forward to a musical afternoon on the pasture.

Open air festival in the pine forest organized by the Ski Club Ladinia. The day starts with the Holy Mass and continues with games, musical entertainment and specialities of Ladin cuisine. Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Schenna market is full of festival feeling. Like in the olden days, the market is more than just a place to sell or buy wares – it’s a place to meet people and stop for a chat! Fest of the village Durnholz - where the tradtitions are still allive!

Barthlmastag is an important Rittner vacation with a long tradition. It is celebrated annually on August 24 and takes its name from the patron saint of shepherds and farmers, St. Bartholomew. If the 24th of August falls on a Sunday, as it does this year, the cattle drive and the market are moved to Monday since Sunday is not a market day according to custom. In the past, on this day, the farmers met on the Rittner Alm for the cattle drive and the subsequent market. The cattle of the farmers, who spent the summer on the alp, are herded together at the Saltner hut and driven in at noon with “Goasslschnoellen”, Saltner calls, neighing and yelling. The meeting point is a fenced-in area, the “Stricker Pfarrer”, where in earlier years the Barthlmas market took place, where the farmers met to do various business. Today the market takes place in Pemmern, where agricultural products from the region are offered. Since 1927, the spectacle has been accompanied by the Wangen music band, which has also provided food and drink since the 1960s. After this highlight on the Rittner Alm, the afternoon continues downhill to Pemmern, where the Almfest becomes a meadow festival with music and children’s programs. Over the years, Barthlmastag has become the largest folk festival in Ritten and is known and loved far beyond the borders of the municipality

Starting from the village center, the nature and landscape enthusiast Martin leads you along a trail that winds through quiet streets, passing by the Cantina Merano Winery and several other local wineries. Along the way, you’ll encounter informative panels about the history and culture of wine, as well as larger-than-life winegrowing constructions. This approximately 1, ½ -hour walk concludes with a wine tasting at a local winery in Marling or the Cantina Merano Winery in Marling. Guided by a winemaker or cellar master, you’ll enjoy a selection of local wines paired with a traditional “Marendbrettl” (South Tyrolean snack).
