Local and seasonal, straight from the producer. Farmers from the surrounding area bring their own farm produce to the Brixen old town centre. Depending on the season, fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, flowers, honey, homemade jams and pasta sauces, refined distillates and organically grown herbs as well as wooden handicrafts are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From April to October, local associations prepare fresh tirtln (fried stuffed pastry) on site on a weekly basis. This means that every Saturday is also a culinary experience. This market has been a popular, lively meeting place for locals and guests for 30 years.

Wine & dine with chefs from around the globe Igor “Iggy” Kuznetsov, Vienna Iggy is a chef who reveres the slow and dedicated craft of cooking. He made a name for himself as a ramen pioneer in Vienna, Austria, and honed his culinary skills at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián, Spain. His path led him further to Tokyo’s renowned kitchens, including Shinobu Namae’s L’Effervescence and Thomas Frebel’s INUA. His eclectic dishes reflect strong influences from Asian cuisines—such as Japanese, Korean, and Thai—combined with touches of various European traditions. Iggy believes that good food, prepared simply yet thoughtfully with local ingredients and above all with respect for nature and community, is a natural path to a healthy and happy life. His dishes tell stories of the places he has visited and lived. Over these four days, he will share a fusion of France, Italy, Nepal, and Japan with his guests at Mondschein.
