Stevia is the mountain which is situated above Selva. It's located on the sunny side of Selva and on the top you will have a spectacular view of the whole valley. Here you pass several small lakes, where you can load a short break and relax in pure nature and will leave the stress behind.
This exciting hike in the heart of the Puez-Odle Nature Park leads to the recently built Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage -Viewpoint Mastlé-S. Cristina/Val Gardena. The path winds its way below the imposing vertical Fermeda towers, to the Pieralongia and then to the Seceda mountain located at a higher altitude.
The Val Scura track, with its 7,5 km length and 270 m of altitude, is ideal for demanding cross-country skiers. Its long ascents and breathtaking descents are very much appreciated by passionate cross-country skiers.
During the wintertime the vallunga trasforms hisself in a Winterwonderland. The snow which covers the forest trasmits a mystic flair and you can enjoy the quitness of the valley.
The ideal track for the first attempts at cross-country skiing on flat terrain with slight up and downs.
The Mesules is legendary: it is one of the oldest via ferratas in the Dolomites (1912) as well
as one of the most demanding in the area.
The skilift Plan da Tieja is located above the center of S. Cristina.

The entrance to the Langental valley is located in Selva Gardena and runs through a pleasant walking and hiking path with views of the Stevia massif and the walls of the Puezgruppe on the left, as well as the Chedul Mountains and Col Turond on the right. Along the path you can find the mystical Silester Chapel.
This classic hike runs across the steep Forcella Piza to Alpe Stevia, where you can catch a unique view to the Cir peaks.
Selva Gardena is located at the end of the valley surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of the Dolomites. The Unesco World Heritage peaks watch over this charming village, an excellent meeting place for families, as well as a starting point for sports and outdoor activities. There are several oppurtunities for hiking and climbing, for exciting descents in the Dolomiti Superski area, for adventurous rock and ice climbs, for mountain biking and snowshoeing.
