    V mnoha jihotyrolských pizzeriích se již od 60. let 20. století téměř každý den rozpalují pece. V Jižním Tyrolsku je více než 300 takových podniků ve městech, malých vesnicích i na venkově. Milovníci pizzy si přijdou na své. Tradiční středomořská nabídka zahrnuje jak jednoduchou klasiku, tak moderní a módní kreace, při jejichž přípravě lze použít různé druhy speciálních těst.
