Hubenbauer tavern offers new wine, chestnuts roasting on the grill, bacon, smoked sausages and many other tasty dishes from the farm kitchen. Since the autumn of 2010, in addition to the ancient tradition of the restaurant in South Tyrol, the inn offers its own brewery. With special beers of high fermentation, we have completed our gastronomic offer. The beer is brewed according to the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516.

Guests can enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains and the whole Eisack valley from the sun terrace of Ahner farm. Inside, the panelled dining room provides a cosy setting. The delicious first course dishes are a highlight. Open all year round. Prior reservation desired.

You will find our farm restaurant in the centre of the village. We converted part of the old stable into a restaurant in 1997. Our restaurant features cosy little snugs, where we serve our guests local Tyrolean specialities including Knödel dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen (pasta parcels), Gerstesuppe (a hearty local soup), platters with farm produce and much more. Every Friday we offer roast pork knuckle with various side dishes. In autumn, you can enjoy the local harvest festival feasts known as Törggelen, where a Tyrolean Schlachtplatte (a hearty meal of pork, sausages and sauerkraut) is served. For desert there are chestnuts, other types of nuts, fruit and doughnuts. Why not visit our farm restaurant, where you experience a wonderful evening enjoying a wide range of specialities. The Steidlerhof farm looks down on the city of Bolzano, enjoying wonderful panoramic views from the Rosengarten mountain to the Mendel mountain ridge. Nestling amid the gently sloping St. Magdalena vineyards, the guests will experience real rural hospitality within lovingly restored walls and recharge your batteries on the sunny terrace. Open from mid-March to June on Thursday to Sunday from 11.00. Monday to Wednesday closed. From September to the beginning of December open on Wednesday and Thursday from 17.00 and Friday to Sunday from 11.00. Monday and Tuesday closed.

Malga Contrin is located on a sunny hill in the middle of unspoiled nature on the Alpe di Siusi at 2011 m altitude and can be easily reached in summer and winter. This is practically a self-sufficient farm. Guests here can enjoy meat, speck, sausage and ‘Surfleisch’ (cured pork) from the field to the table. The house wine and variety of seasonal products round off a pleasant stop at the Oberpartegger farm. From September to December weekdays from 6 pm and Saturday, & Sunday already open from noon. Tuesday is a day of rest. In the spring at asparagus time is also open on Saturday and Sunday from midday. Reservation recommended.

The little Gstatsch hut is newly built with the philosophy of South Tyrolean regionality. At the same time we move away from the tradition and reinterpret a new cuisine. The route up to the hut is family and cyclist friendly. Ideal for un short round on the alp or a mountain tour. We offer hut evenings on reservation, for a great experience.

Strasserhof farm enjoys great views across the whole of the Brixen valley basin. The cosy old panelled parlour is just as impressive. Whether inside or outside, seated under the walnut tree, guests will feel at home on the Strasserhof farm. Farm Holiday guests are also welcome. Open from mid-September until the start of December. Wednesday until Friday open from 5pm and Saturday and Sunday open from 12 noon. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Advance booking required.
