Traditional St. Nicholaus and Krampus procession. 3.30 p.m. Schellen Race - children draped with goat herding bells, stroll along the village. On their way the children are tossed nuts, mandarin oranges and candies. 6 p.m. St. Nicholaus procession

For more than half a century, the "Nikolauskommitee Schlanders" has been introducing the old South Tyrolean tradition of St. Nicholas parade. Passing the retirement home and the hospital, St. Nicholas runs with his carriage through the center to the Plawennpark, where the celebration ends. From 2 pm more than 100 "Krampus" are around in the pedestrian Zone of Silandro. From 5 pm St. Nicholas parade

During the Advent time there is a pre-Christmas atmosphere in Silandro. On the weekend mid December the annual Christmas market takes place.
