Join the Luggin family in Laas/Lasa and discover the Kandlwaalhof organic farm where first-grade fruit and herbs grow in temperate conditions at an elevation of 900 m. Try some of their crafted products such as apple juice, dried fruit, vinegar, and mustards. Another highlight: during the flowering season, take a tour of the apple orchards and learn all kinds of interesting facts about apple farming. From Tschengls we walk gently uphill to the Standlairhof farm. From there, we walk past St. Ottilia and along a beautiful field path back to Tschengls. In addition to various copses and forest trees, we will encounter a wide variety of well-known and lesser-known meadow and wayside plants such as celandine, rock cinquefoil, deadnettle, spiky St. Christopher's wort and woolly buttercup. 200 Years of the Stelvio Pass Road – Prad Celebrates History! To mark the anniversary of the legendary Stelvio Pass Road, Prad am Stilfserjoch invites you to a grand historical parade. Starting at 11 AM, the festive procession will move from Zinggweg to Kreuzweg, accompanied by numerous local associations and impressive reenactments from the past: "Korrner", Swabian children, mountaineers, historic carriages, and more. At the festival area in Kreuzweg, Prad’s local clubs will offer delicious food and drinks, while fascinating exhibitions provide insights into the history of this famous mountain road. Join us in celebrating this special anniversary!

The Biathlon Centre at the the Martelltal valley is located at 1,700 m. It is one of the most modern biathlon centres in the Alpine region, and snow is guaranteed here. It is a training camp and venue for national and international competitions. A guided shooting and safety training session with a small-bore rifle will introduce you to the fascinating world of biathlon.

A ‘borderless’ cultural and musical experience in the border triangle! The Venosta Festival event series puts culture centre stage. With various acts and performances from the border triangle of South Tyrol, Austria and Switzerland, the cultural diversity and solidarity of our regions will once again be showcased. Our trekking guide Florian - called Llamero in South America - welcomes you in the llama paradise and gives you an insight into the basics of llama keeping as well as the habits and characteristics of these friendly animals. After some exercises in the obstacle course, we will walk together with our llama boys Giacomo, Rocky, Rono, Rambo, Casper and Winnetou through the meadows and forests of the national park and you may let yourselves be touched by their calmness and good-naturedness while you lead them on the leash. Llamas are called the dolphins of the pasture and you will sense it. If desired (at an extra charge), the adults can relax in the llama paradise after the tour until the sausages are ready on the barbecue and the little ones can play archery and games in the Indian teepee. The llamas will watch you and continue to be close to you while snacking on their well-deserved reward. And of course, there will be enough time for photos and videos with our llama troop. Height difference: approx. 150 m Costs: 30 euros/person, 85 euros per family, 20 euros per person who does not lead a llama during the trek, possibility of a barbecue (with sausage, bread and drink) after the tour in the llama enclosure - with surcharge depending on the number of participants. Adventurous hours await our visitors in the Llama Paradise in the Upper Martell Valley, the summer quarters of the National Park New World camelids. Here you can get to know these gentle, curious animals, get very close to them while petting, combing and feeding them and, if you wish, lead them yourself on a leash through the meadows and forests of the National Park during a short trekking walk after instruction in the obstacle course. Smaller children may lead a llama on a leash in the secured area. Indian feeling in the tipi tent is on top. Of course there will be enough time for photos and videos with our loving ‘long-necks’. Meeting a llama is an unforgettable experience for young and old. Duration: approx. 1,5-2 hours Also suitable for small children, also possible without trekking In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed!

Experience marmots in action. Their whistles show us the way. In the high mountain region of Stelvio National Park you can observe wild animals and learn more about their habitants and ways of survife. Duration: 6 h, walking time approx. 4 h, ascent up to 600 metres in altitude

Every Wednesday between 8.30 am to 12.30 am, the pedestrian zone and Peter-Glückh-Platz in Mals bustle with activity. Fresh local produce, such as fruit, berries and vegetables, cheeses, bacon and bread types, jam, vinegar, juices and herbal teas, are always available for sale at the farmer's market. There are also craft and handicraft products made of stone, wood or felt for sale, as well as textiles, leather goods, plants, and equipment of all kinds for house and garden.

The Church of St Johann in Taufers was built around 1220. The Romanesque church building has the shape of a Greek cross. The fully painted groined vault shows Byzantine influences, and the frescoes from the late Romanesque period are also worth seeing. Up above Martell Valley, lies the Niederhof at an altitude of 1,650 m. Take a guided tour of the original farm museum, providing an insight into life on a mountain farm in the past and present. Afterwards, home-made farm products can be tasted against surcharge.
