After reaching Saltria, a ascent on trail no. 9 leads to the Tirler Alm with its cozy rest stop.
The return journey is by skibus Saltria-Monte Pana. Tickets are available on the bus and at the ticket machines on the Seiser Alm (Single ride €5.00).

The Alm is situated in a sunny, sheltered mountain hollow and provides a cozy spot to rest at its welcoming hut. Please check the opening hours of the Zingerlehütte in advance to best plan your visit.
Descent: The return follows the same way as the ascent.
The Laranz Forest between Seis and Telfen is the quintessence of a mysterious fairytale forest: The trail through the wood is a gift of peace, strength and inner contemplation. The winter hike begins in Obereggen. From here you can either take the Ochsenweide cable car or the footpath (next to the sledging trail) up to the Epircher Laner Alm Alpine farm. Follow the meadow trail to the Mayrl Alm, Zischgalm and Ganischger Alm Alpine farms. Return via the same route.
The famous little church in St. Kathrein is situated on a rise in Hafling and can be seen from far away in Meran and Environs. The Romanesque church has its origins in the 13th century and features well-preserved frescos from the 14th century. Fantastic views of the city of Meran as well as the Texelgruppe range can be enjoyed from the church.
Starting point is the roundabout in Völs, from where you follow up to Fiè di Sopra/Umes. Turn left at the Hotel Heubad and continue along trail no. 1. The sunny path leads past some farms until you reach the Völser Weiher lake after 45 minutes.
The thirty-minute descent along trail no. 13 to St. Konstantin/ S. Costantino, passing historic summer retreat residences along the way, is recommendable. After a short break at the picturesque church, follow the trail through the meadows and woods back to Völs. This loop-route can also be hiked in the opposite direction.

The small mountain village of Trafoi is located some 1,640 m up at the foot of the Stilfserjoch pass road. This winter hike takes you straight from the village to the “Hl. Drei Brunnen” pilgrimage site via a romantic spruce forest.
Winter hike along the well-prepared hiking trails of the Resciesa area.
This winter hike to the Rittner Horn mountain starts at the Gasserhütte mountain hut. Follow the prepared winter hiking trail first to the Mair in Plun and from there to the Gasteiger Sattel saddle. Keep following the winter trail as far as the Rittner Horn. Refreshments are available en route at the Mair in Plun hut, Oberes Horn Haus and Gasserhütte. Return is by the same route.
The hike to the Enzianhütte starts about 1.5 km south of Brennerbad (1310 m) on the Brennerstreet, where a signposted access road (sign "Enzianhütte") branches off. After passing under the highway, the path first goes left and then through the forest, leading you up to the meadows of Kreithof (1391 m). From there, continue on foot in gentle switchbacks through the forest to the hut "Ziroger Alm" (1762 m). The path continues through open slopes and finally reaches the hut Enzianhütte (1894 m), a private and managed mountain hut. The descent can be done either on foot (approx. 1.5 hours) or by sleigh.
During the winter season 2024/25, the hut Enzianhütte will be closed, and there will be no opportunity for refreshments.
Starting at the Reinswald cable car valley station, the prepared winter hiking trail first leads along the ski slope up to the Sunnolm mountain restaurant. After a short, steep ascent from the Sunnolm, winter hikers can then look forward to continuing on a well-appointed, natural forest trail which winds its way uphill until just before the Pichlbergalm Alpine farm (cable car mountain station). From the Pichlbergalm head east to the sunny Latschensteig trail (part of the Urlesteig trail – the nature experience in the Sarntal valley) at the foot of the Blankenhörndl mountain. Continue until you reach the Getrumalm Alpine farm (staffed; at the beginning and towards the end of the winter season, ask about opening times at the valley station). At the Getrumalm a wide forest road leads down to the car park at the Reinswald ski area valley station.
Tip: a limited number of sledges for a descent into the valley can be hired at the Getrumalm and returned at the ski rental at the valley station.
