    The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at St. Nikolaus near Kaltern, a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery. Open from mid-March to start of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 p.m. Booking recommended.

    Lüch de Survisc farm has been in the family for generations and lies on the sunny side of the Dolomites at 1,475 metres above sea level.     Schenna/Scena, Meran/Merano and environs
    Zmailer Hof farm looks out from the Schennerberg mountainside over the Meran valley basin and across to the Etsch river valley. It is the ideal destination for a mountain walk. Parts of the old farmhouse, such as the kitchen, hallway and pretty frescoes at the entrance to the house are under listed building protection. Guests can enjoy the tasty house specialities on the sun terrace or in the cosy farmhouse parlour. The excellent fruit juices are a treat not to be missed. Open daily from mid-March until the end of November. Closed on Fridays.

    At Oberlegar farm the farmers really know how to dish up a treat. Both farmhouse parlours and the sun terrace are perfect for savouring delicious food in good company. The Schwarz family’s hospitality and a drop of the house wine complete the experience perfectly. Open from the end of March to the end of May and from end of September to the start of December. Prior reservation desired.

    The Pirchhof lies on the Sonnenberg near Naturns, right above the Meran High Altitude Path and offers a unique view of the Vinschgau valley. You will be able to enjoy typical South Tyrolean products mostly produced on the premises on the sunny terrace or inside, far away from everyday life. The Pirchhof offers Farm Holidays too. Open daily from Mid-March to Mid-November, in December only at weekends. Orders for evening meals only taken in advance.

    The Pschnickerhof, with its unpronounciable name, offers some real treats for your tastebuds. The farm lies amidst chestnut groves and vineyards. The cosy 'stube' with its farm oven is just perfect for lingering and tasting dishes in. Over Easter and Whitsun open by reservation. In midsummer from Wednesday to Saturday from 17:00, and in autumn Saturdays and Sundays already open from 12:00. For the rest of the year, reservations are accepted from 10 people.

    Rielingerhof farm occupies a remote spot at 750 m above sea level amidst vineyards and orchards. The whole grape harvest is made into delicious organic wine on the farm. In addition, guests can enjoy organic meat from the farm as well as a wide variety of fruit and vegetables from the farm and its land. Farm Holidays also available. Open from 25th February until 27th March from Friday to Sunday, from 1st April until 26th June and from 3rd September until 7th November from Tuesday to Sunday, and from 12th November until 28th November from Friday to Sunday. During the remainder of the year, bookings for more than 10 persons are accepted.

    The Nalserbacherkeller is not far from Nals, on the road towards Prissian and Tisens. The Pallweber family will spoil you in the comfortable cellar or under the vines in the open air. The kitchen offers tasty, varied food, hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. Home-distilled fruit schnaps will round off your meal! Open from the start of April until the end of June from Thursday to Sunday and from the start of August until mid-December from Thursday to Monday. Opening times: Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 4.00 pm to midnight, weekdays from 5.00 pm to midnight. Advance booking desired.

    This is practically a self-sufficient farm. Guests here can enjoy meat, speck, sausage and ‘Surfleisch’ (cured pork) from the field to the table. The house wine and variety of seasonal products round off a pleasant stop at the Oberpartegger farm. From September to December weekdays from 6 pm and Saturday, & Sunday already open from noon. Tuesday is a day of rest. In the spring at asparagus time is also open on Saturday and Sunday from midday. Reservation recommended.

    First mentioned in records in 1379, Fronthof farm is the largest fully-preserved farmhouse in South Tyrol built on a steep slope from stone and is something special. The old, panelled dining rooms provides the ideal setting for special occasions and makes a great stopping point after a walk along the 'Oachner Höfeweg' Farmstead Trail. Open from March to May on Sundays at midday, in July, August and September from Tuesday to Thursday from midday to 11.00 pm, in August also on Sundays at midday, in October and November from Wednesday to Sunday from midday to 11.00 pm.     High above Bozen, nestled away in an ancient chestnut grove on the sunny slopes of the Ritten mountain, is Ebnicherhof farm. This is the perfect destination for spring and autumn. The farmhouse parlour and sun terrace are the ideal place to while away the time enjoying typical farm dishes and unique views stretching from the Dolomites to the Unterland (Lower Adige).     The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse - that involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House ‘Sekt’ (sparkling wine), made from the native ‘Blatterle’ grape is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm. Open days: Open daily from mid September to mid December from 15.00.     The sun terrace at the Kinigerhof at 1,399 metres above sea level occupies prime position for viewing the gigantic Sextner Dolomites. Right across from the farm, the famous rocky towers, known as the ’Sextner Sonnenuhr’ or ’Sextner Sundial’ reach up to the skies. The house speciality is cured meat: the ’Speck’ from various different pork cuts, cured beef, sausage, salami and cooked ’Speck’ are excellent. The many herbs and berries from the farm garden used in the cooking add a special touch. The farm also takes Farm Holiday guests. Those seeking to take it easier can take in the warming rays of the sun on the terrace or simply enjoy the views of the nearby Geisler mountain peaks. The Obermoserhof offers Farm Holidays too.     Ebner wine farm lies at the foot of the Ritten high plateau surrounded by vineyards. The farmer, Florian, produces excellent wines, while his wife is an experienced cook and confectioner who treats her guests to typical Tyrolean dishes, and now serves a delicious farm brunch. Open from March to mid-May on Sunday after 9.00 am (farm brunch until 1.00 pm). From the start of October to mid- December from Wednesdays to Fridays from 6.00 pm, open from midday on Saturdays and Sundays. Prior order required.

    Niedermairhof farm is situated high above Kastelbell on the side of the Trumsberg mountain. From its sun terrace you can enjoy fantastic views down and across Vinschgau valley and into Martelltal valley and inside there are two cosy and inviting wood-panelled farm parlours. The Kaserer family’s many home made products will turn ordinary meals into a real treat. Open from 1st April to 20th December. Thursdays closed. From 15th June to 15th August closed Thursdays and Sundays. Orders in advance required for evening meals.

    Burgerhof farm stands out thanks to its two cosy dining rooms and fantastic views of the Brixen valley basin. Organic farming methods have held great importance here for over 30 years. Guests can look forward to seasonal dishes, with a menu that changes every week, delicious organic wines as well as tender meat from the farm's own herd. Open from mid-September until the second weekend in December as well as from the start of April until the mid of June. Hours: Saturdays from midday and Sundays from 12.00am to 3.00pm. In autumn, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 6.00pm. Open in the evenings by reservation only. For the rest of the year we are happy to accept reservations above 20 guests on request.

    Lajen-Ried is well known as the cradle of the ‘Törggele’ culture, when the season’s new wine is served up with accompanying farmhouse fare in autumn. However, guests will enjoy a stop here at any time of year. The Schenk family dishes up seasonal delicacies from the garden and wine cellar in the 17th century panelled farmhouse parlour both in winter and spring. Open from the start of September until the start of December from 12 noon.     The Steidlerhof farm looks down on the city of Bolzano, enjoying wonderful panoramic views from the Rosengarten mountain to the Mendel mountain ridge. Nestling amid the gently sloping St. Magdalena vineyards, the guests will experience real rural hospitality within lovingly restored walls and recharge your batteries on the sunny terrace. Open from mid-March to June on Thursday to Sunday from 11.00. Monday to Wednesday closed. From September to the beginning of December open on Wednesday and Thursday from 17.00 and Friday to Sunday from 11.00. Monday and Tuesday closed.

    Ungererhof farm lies at the foot of the Jaufenspitze mountain at an altitude of 1,540m. Enjoying an idyllic spot at the end of the valley, it offers a culinary journey through the four seasons. Walter the farmer fills his popular potato ravioli with whatever nature has to offer at the time of making: sorrel, nettle, herbs, pumpkin and even mountain pine buds. The farm also offers light bites with meat products from the farm as well as home-made Tyrolean Graukäse cheese. Open from 1st March to 6th January. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.     "Gostnerhof farm in Barbian is on the sunny side of the Eisack river valley. Guests can enjoy savouring original Eisack valley farmhouse fare amidst colourful vineyards beneath the rays of the autumn sun. Two cosy farmhouse parlours invite guests to sit and get stuck into some delicious culinary treats. We have a large children’s playground for kids to play around in.     This listed farmhouse is situated north of Brixen, between Vahrn and Neustift, at the foot of a steeply sloping vineyard. It once belonged to the so-called Mairhöfen and provided income for the bishop. Today it is here to spoil you with a drop of its home-produced wine and tasty dishes. The farm in also offers wine tastings (booking required). From 12th September until 3rd December open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon.     Winklerhof farm was first mentioned in records in 1314. Typical seasonal dishes from the Eisacktal valley mainly from the farm itself are the crowning glory or a rewarding walk along the Keschtnweg path. Guests can while away the time with a glass of wine on the sun terrace beneath the walnut tree or in one of the two rustic parlours. Open from mid-September to the end of November from midday to midnight with closing day on Monday and Tuesday. In spring also open on weekends by appointment. The farm also offers farm vacations.
