The world is full of dividing lines between us and them. Between others and those opposite to them. How many more divisions do we want to make? How do we want to see and face the world and each other? The Divisions performance examines concrete and abstract walls between kingdoms, communities and people. Mental walls are often even found inside the heads of individual people. The scenes in this performance examine the effects of these various walls on the surrounding communities and the individuals there. On you, on me, on us. This episodic play consists of several stories, the focus of which is moving to extremes and concretizing the walls that arise from small or big things. The performance is punctuated by piano music, songs, and dances. There are alternatives in the execution of episodic play. The performance can be only physic and dance theatre with songs and between 30-60 minutes. The refugee and immigrant stories are told using the means of documentary theater, and the storytellers are both real immigrants and fictitious people. Sometimes concrete walls completely separate people from each other. Fear, courage, hilarity, snobbery, seriousness, prejudices, and openness don't always fit in the same encounter. Tobias Ennemoser, a tuba player from Tyrol, has taken to the streets on roller skates, playing the vastness of public spaces with a colorful array of instruments as a one-man marching band on wheels. His setup includes roller skates, a bass tuba, a megaphone, a keyboard, a drum, squeaking horns, and a drum computer. This musician is both mobile and quirky, and he's great fun to watch. A hippo is a lumbering animal. Despite its name, this band from the Welsh port city of Bristol has nothing to do with the gentle lumbering of a hippopotamus. From 18 July to 14 August, the SUMMER EMOTIONS are back in Brixen. On 4 Thursday and 1 Wednesday evenings, around 10 establishments will be offering a variety of culinary delights and specialities, aperitifs and cooling drinks. Over 20 music groups and DJs will turn the historic city centre into a stage during the Brixen SUMMER EMOTIONS. The heart of the historic city centre will once again become a get-together for locals and guests on these four summer evenings.

There is hardly anything more beautiful than the rising sun. When it bathes the clouds in the sky in colour, finally emerging orange from behind the horizon. On 5 Fridays in July and August, the Pfannspitz gondola lift departs in the early hours of the morning for a special ride. It takes you from Skihütte up to the mountain station at 2,500 metres. From there, trail no. 7 leads to the summit of the Großer Gabler at 2,576 metres. The hike takes about 45 minutes. You should be sure-footed for the last part as the climb to the summit is a little steeper over stones. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the mountain and the awakening of the day. Because a sunrise on the mountain is something very special. 50 tickets are available for this guided sunrise hike with breakfast. These can only be booked online and by 11 am the day before at the latest.

A vesper reconstructed by Franz Comploi with music from around the middle of the 17th century from libraries and archives in Brixen and the surrounding area is being performed for the first time today. 22 wine producers from the Eisack Valley present their wines from 7 to 11 p.m. under the arcades in Brixen. This is a unique opportunity to taste the northern Italian wine region and to talk with the producers and cellar masters. The wine tasting will be accompanied by cheese specialties from the likes of Hansi Baumgartner, Degust and the natural bakery Profanter. The wine evening will be accompanied musically by singer-songwriter Marion Moroder.
