My small, young & dynamic team exudes passion around the topic of food. Through competence & friendliness we want to bring our innovative products to the customer. Through continuous culinary travels across the borders, we collect new inputs in the area of product & preparation which we would like to pass on to our prospective customers. In addition, a correct price/performance ratio is very important to us; there should be something for everyone in our programme.....no matter how big or small the wallet is.

The Römerhof in Tramin is a place for connoisseurs of regional specialties.The Giovanett family combines tradition and innovation here – cultivating the historic "Tirggplent" corn and the first rice cultivated in South Tyrol.The corn is used to produce high-quality, gluten-free flours, and the Sant'Andrea rice impresses with its taste and quality. The farm passionately preserves old varieties and brings them to life.The products are available in select stores in Tramin or directly at the farm shop by appointment.The Römerhof stands for genuine South Tyrolean craftsmanship and authentic enjoyment.

It started off as a dairy factory... Now, more than fifty years have passed in which the Larcher family has been successful in the production of quality produce. First just processing dairy, then later being replaced by meats which now is the centre of the business. From Bacon to pickled beef and sausages, up to the Speck Alto Adige P.G.I.. Mendelspeck L.D.T. possesses a countless assortment of products. Here you will find something to suit all tastes. The quality of our products is guaranteed through the strict controlled production processes and workstations. The fresh meat comes exclusively from bovine of mountain farmers from around Terlan. Butcher Stefan Nigg knows the mountain farmers for decades and knows about the high quality of the meat. He believes that only from healthy animals you get healthy food and he wants the "flavor of the pasture" contained in its products. Weekly cattle are slaughtered and processed according to old craftsmanship that continues in the butchery. Some of the products are also produced by organic criteria "Bioland".
