The ‘Gartner’ has a considerable role to play among the leading gourmet addresses in South Tyrol. The young squad headed by Toque-awarded chef Daniel Niedermair inspires hotel guests with a very contemporary and exceptionally creative cuisine, prepared using regional produce. Our guests dine either in the winter garden restaurant ‘The view’, in the dining hall ‘The Taste’ or in ‘The Stube’. The Principe is a reference-point in local restoration, a restaurant – pizzeria where since 1972 guests are heartily welcomed and find a genuine cuisine and savoury pizzas. Located in the centre of town, just a stone’s throw from Piazza Teatro, it offers several seating options including the bright dining room and, during the warm season, a terrace. The menu consists of classic Italian dishes along with some more typical local courses, with fresh fish every Thursday and Friday. There is an ample choice – for lunch as well -of about 80 kinds of pizza made with several doughs, including the wholemeal one, ranging from the very classic to the special and some more creative ones. All pizzas are obviously cooked in a wood-fired oven. Free Wi-fi is available.

At the Castel finedining restaurant, enjoyment is emphasised. Since 1992, Gerhard Wieser has been responsible for the ultimate culinary moments at Hotel Castel. This continuity has paid off, with the restaurant receiving multiple recognitions – including 2 stars from the Michelin Guide and 5 toques from the Gault Millau. At the finedining restaurant, the focus is always on the guest. Experience a unique evening of which you will long have positive memories! The restaurant cafè "Das Stübele" is situated on 1,337m on the parking place "Grüner Baum" in Verano/Vöran. Ideal starting point for excursions. We offer deliscous and traditional dishes and handmade cakes, sunny terrace.

The Außerschwemmalm (2.142) lies on the sunny side of the Ultental with a wonderful panoramic view of the South Tyrolean mountains. You can reach the hut comfortably by using the cable car "Kuppelwies-Schwemmalm" or via several beautiful hiking trails. On the beautiful sun terrace with local dishes, alpine products from our own production, butter and cheese from our own cheese factory, as well as South Tyrolean wines, you can escape the daily stress. Drink coffee, stop for an aperitif or enjoy a delicious breakfast (breakfast on reservation) The Runstnerhof is an old farmhouse in the middle of the Adige Valley between Bolzano and Merano. A jewel, romantically embedded at the entrance of the village of Gargazon. The stone walls of the cellar date back to the 14th century. Every generation made this farmhouse a special place in its own way. Old things have stood still and new ideas bring a breath of fresh air into the timberwork: Since 2020, the Runstnerhof has been home to a small, fine farm café. With 30 seats indoors and plenty of colourful open space at the tables in the garden, it is a magnet for secret nature lovers and discerning breakfast lovers.

Chef Bernhard Gufler was headchef at the spa resort Andreus for seven years. There he has met and did cook for quite a few peronalities such as the German football national team in 2014. As a new chapter in his life, he now has the chance to call the "Unteren Obereggerhof", along with his girlfriend Katja, his own. This place is both, a comfortable place to stay, a destination for hikers, as also a place for family gatherings. Highlights of the house obviously include various culinary delights, which in form of a small menu, will change day by day. Fresh and homemade products will have a main role in all the presented meals. On the "Unterer Obererggerhof" there is also a small petting zoo with all kind of different animals. Our younger guests can enjoy theirselfs on the playground located nearby.

The 357 opens in 2016 from an intuition of the starred chef Andrea Fenoglio who accounts for the high standard of the food on display. In 2020 the 357 was awarded best pizzeria of the whole South Tyrol by the illustrious Falstaff magazine. It’s a down-to-Earth welcoming place 3 minutes from the city centre where you can taste a good pizza prepared with a long leavening dough, filled with ingredients of the highest quality, or again tempting starters, rich salads and other courses, besides the ice cream made straight away and other genuine desserts. Furthermore, there is a wide offer of wines at the glass, many of them organic, the List of 100 wines, home-brewed craft beer on tap and a choice of spirits from all over the world. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and is open for lunch and dinner. Online reservation is recommended.
